Love To Write? Then Check This Out…
I’m starting to be old enough where I can remember the days before Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Yikes! Frightening, isn’t it?
The truth is that, back in those days, writers didn’t have many advantages.
If you wanted to focus on being a writer, there weren’t that many opportunities unless you were among the writing elite.
Being A Writer In The Dark Days Of The Internet Was Tough!
You couldn’t start your own blog and immediately begin sharing your content with the world.
You couldn’t share your blog posts and books on Twitter or Facebook.
There was no way that small publishers could publish their books on Amazon Kindle or other marketplaces.
All of these massive learning marketplaces such as Udemy, SkillShare, and SkillSuccess didn’t exist. So there were no opportunities to easily turn your nonfiction into courses
Ghostwriting existed, but there weren’t these massive marketplaces (like upwork, fiverr and freelancer) that allowed you to find and bid on work the very same day.
These Days, Writers Have So Many Advantages That Are Easy To Overlook.
To make a long story short, the ability for writers to get their content noticed to the world, and to find work as a writer, has never been this exciting.
Just a decade or two ago, writers had next to no opportunity outside of a regular 9 to 5 job, or striking it super lucky and getting your book published.
These days, there are almost TOO MANY opportunities for writers, it can be difficult to know where to focus your efforts.
There Are So Many Powerful Places Where You Can Publish Your Content These Days.
Now, if you’re younger than I am, it’s so easy to take all of these opportunities for granted.
The best piece of advice I can give you, is to always think about what you want to write next, and never stop writing!
If you don’t have any place to publish your content, then there are so many powerful and free blogging platforms where you can get an awesome portfolio up and running.
If you love to write books, you can always publish your books on Kindle for absolutely zero cost. Why wouldn’t you?
Another awesome thing to do, and my personal favorite, is to start your own email newsletter.
That way you can build a following, publish your content and share it with those who want your content the most, and you can always try your best to monetize your email newsletter with affiliate marketing if you don’t have your own products.
Another thing that I’d like to mention, is that these days you don’t have to be a technical god in order to publish books, publish blog posts, or have entire email marketing funnels setup and running
So, if you’ve ever been depressed, or overwhelmed, please remember all of the advantages and opportunities out there for writers of all types!
This is my humble two cents, and I hope that it finds you well.
Thanks again for reading another email newsletter, and please have a beautiful day!
Thank You So Much For Checking This Out!
These days, it’s so awesome to be a writer.
I remember in the dark days before the major social networks, blogging networks, freelancing websites, and even online learning platforms.
Back in those days, these opportunities simply did not exist for small business owners. In our modern times, I honestly believe that writing is one of the most powerful hobbies that you can ever practice and worn on.
These days, one of the biggest problems writers have, is trying to decide where to focus their efforts.
If you ask me, this is a very high quality problem to have!
If you ever have any questions, or simply wish to brainstorm, then please never hesitate to contact me
I’ve got your back!
Until then, stay awesome, and please have an amazing day.
Cordially and humbly yours…
