One thing you’ve probably noticed, is that the cost of online advertising keeps going up.
This can’t be debated really. I recently conducted research that revealed that some companies are paying well over 400 dollars for a SINGLE CLICK. (No, that’s not a typo).
Other companies are paying millions of dollars per month on AdWords alone.
Don’t believe me? Simply check out SpyFu.com and look at their “top lists”; much of the PPC data is on record, and you’ll crawl up into a ball and cry once you see the heavy hitters who you and I are now forced to compete with.
It makes it impossible to compete unless your marketing budget is massive. It’s going to get harder and harder to afford paid advertising as a result of larger companies outbidding us (in my humble opinion).
That, my friend, is why I love content marketing more and more these days.
So, What Do You Need More Than Anything To Make Content Marketing Work?
You need content. Lots of it. Content that doesn’t suck.
Email content. Blog content. Ecourses. Books. Videos. The more content you have out there, the merrier. It’s the fishing analogy that I frequently use; the more hooks you have in the water, the better.
The only problem is that, quality content is expensive. It’s direly expensive.
As a ghostwriter, I can promise you that high quality content isn’t cheap. And finding a ghostwriter who’s affordable and who doesn’t suck is next to impossible.
So, my advice, is to create your own content. Learn to create high quality content super fast.
So you can finally get organic traffic and take your content marketing to the next level. Without spending a fortune on paid ads, or hiring a ghostwriter to create the content for you.
Because, unless your budget is massive, you might have a hard time driving adequate amounts of traffic in the future via paid advertising, or getting a ghostwriter worth their salt to create content for you.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day.
