What do you think about competition?
I believe that the Internet is at a place where you’re almost guaranteed to have competition.
The cost of traffic is going up.
The awareness of your end users is at an all time high.
There are more and more vendors.
Your competitors are likely as numerous as they are fierce.
That’s The Bad News.
The good news, is that if you actually care about your end users…
And if you care about your niche…
Then you’ll have a much better chance of actually sticking around, and then a few things will happen.
First, you’ll learn a lot of things just by sticking around.
You’ll also have a better chance of developing some type of following.
This is true for email marketers, Information marketers, affiliate marketers, service providers, and bloggers.
There’s more good news. Technology makes putting everything together so easy.
Seriously, it’s never been easier to throw together a domain and a cool looking site.
(I remember back in the day fussing with Adobe Dreamweaver and raw HTML, yuck, WordPress is so much easier).
So, the cost of entry has never been lower for small businesses.
But…
I think what a lot of people miss is the passion.
A lot of people are in it “just for the money”. I personally believe that this is a bad idea. 😮
Because if you’re here today, but gone tomorrow?
I don’t think anything will ever work.
(Well, unless you have a big marketing budget, but who has one of those these days?).

That’s Why I’m Always Harping On You To Start Email Marketing More Often.
So you can tap into an audience that you love, and talk about the topics that you find to be interesting, all the while actually helping people in your niche.
You’ll learn how to build a list from scratch, even if you’re a nervous nelly introvert who has no idea where to start.
As far as WHAT you want to talk about in your emails… Heck that’s up to you.
Because it’s your choice to find something that you’re actually passionate and knowledgeable about.
And then… Share it with the world. Any way that you can. (Email is my favorite method, I’d love to teach you everything I know in that regard).
:]
And that my friend, is my take on competition.
