The beauty of knowing these two figures, is that you can then calculate how much you’re able to spend on advertising in order to acquire a customer.
This is, arguably, the single most important statistic to a small business owner, because if you know for a fact how much your average customer is worth, then it opens you up to start brainstorming powerful advertising campaigns.
Sales Funnel Benefit # 2 – Flexibility!
Sales Funnels are very customizable these days. There are powerful page builders and funnel apps that can help you deploy a massive array of different sales funnels.
The best part, is that there are different types of sales funnels for different situations.
So maybe you could experiment with Book Funnels, Tripwire Funnels, Membership Funnels, Product Launch Funnels, or other opt-in style funnels.
Sales Funnel Benefit # 3 – Upsells!
One of the coolest things about having your own Sales Funnel up and running, is that you can then clone your own funnel so you can experiment with different Sales Funnel components, or even styles.

Because, in my honest opinion, email marketing, and managing your own email newsletter, is still easily one of the most powerful marketing strategies for just about any Small Business.
Email marketing has been around for a hugely long time, and in my opinion, it’s going to be prominent for some time to come!
The best part about having your own Sales Funnel, is that there are so many powerful ways to promote your email newsletter.
These days, there are so many powerful ways to integrate your Sales Funnel with your email list; everything from inviting your customers to subscribe to your email list, to managing different lead magnet funnels, or even automated webinar funnels with built-in email followups.
Sales Funnel Benefit # 5 – Cross-Selling!
One of the most underrated reasons why Sales Funnels rock, is because you can cross-promote your own products within your existing funnels!
So if you have books, courses, digital products, e-commerce products, or absolutely any type of supplemental products, then you can easily promote those within your existing funnels.
So maybe on your thank you pages, welcome pages, membership pages, or confirmation pages, you could include a call to action that promotes your other products.
Or, you could even promote affiliate marketing products, network marketing products, services that you provide, or even your OTHER funnels. For example, you could promote an awesome Automated Webinar Funnel on your course membership page.
