As someone who lives in the Greater Boston Area, I must profess that I absolutely loathe the freezing-cold Winter! However, there are still a few wintry lessons that all entrepreneurs can benefit from…
The first thing to remember about the winter, is that we’re immediately following the harvest.
The harvest is one of the most important (metaphorically speaking) seasons for the entrepreneur, because the harvest teaches us to put in the work, in order to reap the rewards of our labor.
So if the harvest teaches us the importance of hard work, then what does winter teach us?
Winter can teach entrepreneurs how to sell.
Because, necessity, is one of the core fundamentals of winter.
You don’t want to be left out in the cold; just like your end users (and prospects) don’t want to be left bereft of THEIR core desires.
So ask yourself, what is it that your audience really wants… And needs?
We humans require shelter, warmth, and sustenance to survive the winter.
What do your end users, and your prospects require to make their life better? How can you help make the business, personal goals, and lives of your prospects better?
If you spend time analyzing this question, then you shall indeed be in a much better position to sell.
Winter is a great time to contemplate all of these questions, so that you may better endeavor to present your solutions in a way that sells; even if their life is icy cold at the moment.
If you can focus on this one tiny little question, then I’m overly confident that you shall not only survive this winter, but indeed, thrive in even the most freezing of tundra.
With a little effort; you can transform your prospect’s lives into a tropical paradise, just try to focus on how you can offer awesome solutions that can offer safe (warm) quarter from the cold.
Cordially…
