The number one reason why automated webinars are better than live webinars, is because you can perfect an automated webinar once, and then let it run over, and over, and over again.
And, as you know, live webinars are risky. And they’re also shady as heck if you’re a shy dude like I am, lol.
Because, so many things can go wrong during a live webinar:
- What if you lose your train of thought?
- Or have tech trouble?
- What if you lose power?
- What if you lose Internet connection?
- What if nobody ever shows up?
- What if your webinar is so lacking, that people aren’t interested, and leave the event?
- What if something goes wrong, and you have a massive panic attack live on air in front of your audience?
That’s why automated webinars are three times as powerful as live webinars; because they’re less stressful and you can minimize the risk of any embarrassing or traumatic failures.
Doesn’t Automated Webinar Marketing Sound Much Easier, And Less Stressful?
Webinars put on autopilot will allow you to share some of the best content that you’ve ever created.
You can also use webinars to generate leads, and to also promote your products and services.
And best of all, it’s all automated. All you have to do is record your presentation once, and then it can automate for you over and over.
While you’re sleeping, brainstorming new courses, products, books, or otherwise focusing on your business.
Automated Webinars Remove All The Stress And Uncertainty From Live Webinars.
For that one reason alone, automation is superior to doing live webinars. At least for shy, introverted marketing nerds like me, lol.
Are you the same way?
Because I’m not trying to knock live webinars completely. A lot of entrepreneurs love live webinars.
But to me, I just think automation is much, much easier.
Especially since, these days, you can setup automated webinars so seamlessly, and you won’t have to stress out over all of the tech stuff or marketing jargon that can take a long time to master.
So, you get the benefits of a live webinar, with the freedom and split testing ability that was otherwise impossible not too long ago, unless you were a hardcore computer programmer.
Why Webinar Automation Is Perfect For Any Business
Personally I believe that pretty much all businesses could benefit by hosting webinars for their audience.
Webinars allow you to really show your personality, and they also allow you to provide awesome content for not only your existing students, readers, and fans, but also for your prospects who don’t know you or your business yet.
So webinars are awesome for not only your existing tribe, but also your prospects who have no idea what you’re all about.
Maybe every week your business could train a new training event that is designed to help your existing or prospective customers?
Could you make a list of 4 different events, or maybe even 10 different events that you train on every single week? Of course you could rotate your training topics so that you always have something fresh to cover with your prospects.
This way, at the very least, you’ll be providing awesome content to your prospects, while at the same time you can also add a call to action at the end of the event and promote your products, services, business, or any special offers you have going at the moment.
How To Build The Perfect Automated Webinar Funnel With ClickFunnels
Crafting an awesome webinar funnel with ClickFunnels is really easy because you can use the drag and drop editor within ClickFunnels to edit a whole bunch of different templates that are pretty much done for you.
So if you’re frustrated because you have every intention of launching an awesome automated webinar campaign, but all of the moving parts an variables are stressing you out, then don’t worry because ClickFunnels makes everything super easy.
With ClickFunnels most of the webinar funnel templates include the following:
Webinar registration page – The webinar registration page is the first page in your Webinar Marketing Funnel, and this is the page that your end users will see first. This page is designed to tell your end users exactly what they can expect, and it also makes it super easy for them to subscribe to your upcoming webinar.
Webinar thank you page – What happens when your end users fill out the form and agree to subscribe to your webinar? Well, they’re then taken to the webinar thank you page, also known as the webinar confirmation page. On this page, your visitors will see how and when they are supposed to attend your webinar.
Webinar indoctrination pages – ClickFunnels has a really cool feature called webinar indoctrination pages. These pages are emailed automatically out to all of those end users who subscribed to the webinar. These pages are designed to excite your end users about your webinar, to remind them, and to also serve as supplementary content before the main webinar.
Webinar broadcast room – The webinar broadcast room is the actual page where your webinar presentation is shown to all of your attendees. This room is sent via email to your audience automatically, so you don’t have to worry about any of the technical aspects of this. If you’re wondering how you embed your actual video within ClickFunnels, you can use just about any video host, such as Vimeo, Wistia, or even YouTube. YouTube is an awesome choice for both automated webinars, and even live webinars too.
Webinar replay room – If your end users forget to attend your webinar, then what happens? Well, based upon their behavior, for example if they miss the webinar, or leave early, then you can easily configure ClickFunnels to contact (by email) your end user to invite them to the webinar replay. This is an awesome feature because as you know not everyone who registers to a webinar will show up. Maybe they weren’t feeling well, maybe they were out to dinner, or maybe they just fell asleep so they never saw the webinar. This feature will make it super easy to ensure that all of those who missed, for whatever reason, get a chance to see the webinar.
Why Webinar Automation Is Perfect For Lead Generation
One of the coolest things about automated webinars, in my opinion, is that they can be a great way to not only promote your business and share some of your best content, but arguably more importantly, they are a great way to generate leads.
Each and every time someone subscribes to your webinar registration page, they can automatically be added to your email list, allowing you to followup with them, talk about your future promotions, share awesome content, and of course, remind them about your upcoming webinar.
Much of this can be automated by the way, so if you want to write a really powerful email marketing campaign with your email autoresponder, you can do that, or if you just want to automate reminders to attend your upcoming webinar, you can do that too.
The point is that, webinars are a powerful marketing tool to have, because they accomplish not only awesome content, and your promotions, but they also generate leads too, which is like the perfect “Trifecta” of marketing, lol.
Why Webinar Automation Is Perfect For Sales Presentations
Confused end users are much less likely to buy your products and services, right?
This is especially true if your end users don’t know you, and they have no idea if you can actually help them.
That’s why webinars present a tremendous opportunity for you and your business.
Because you can use webinars to introduce yourself. To share awesome content that’s designed to actually benefit all in attendance. You can even use webinars to give away free books, courses, goodies, or other prizes so you can make your event much more exciting.
And, at the end of the event, after you’ve educated, helped, and shared a ton of awesome content with your prospects, you can of course close your event with a strong call to action.
Maybe you’ve promoting your coaching offer, your new book, your course, or just about any other product or promotion.
I propose to you, that after sharing, caring, and helping your audience, you’ll be in a much better position to make an offer, right?
Why Automated Webinars With ClickFunnels Are Particularly Powerful
There are two reasons why webinar automation rocks with ClickFunnels.
The first reason, I think, is because ClickFunnels can integrate with YouTube in order to automate your webinars.
Why is YouTube integration so important to me personally?
Well, first of all, YouTube is one of the most popular video platforms on the planet, so you’ll probably find that it’s super easy for your end users to access. To me, accessibility is a huge factor that makes YouTube integration ideal.
The second reason why ClickFunnels rocks for automated webinars, is due to ease of use.
Even if you don’t have much tech skills, design skills, or even copywriting skills, much of the heavy lifting is done for you with all of the different templates that ClickFunnels provides.
So if you’re frustrated because you don’t know any programming languages, and if you just want to operate from an existing set of templates that make design and deployment of your webinars super easy, then this might be a really awesome experience for you.
7 Genius Ways To Promote Your Automation Webinars
I’m about to have an awesome brainstorm session detailing a few cool ways to promote your automated webinar.
But before I do that, ask yourself, what type of content are you publishing now?
Are you publishing blog posts, Podcasts, videos, e-books, or courses?
Because, your main promotional strategy can be aided if you already publish content.
Because maybe you can add a small call to action at the end of your existing content and let your audience know that you have an awesome webinar coming up?
Because once your automated webinar is up and running, it’s the coolest feeling in the world. You’ll be excited to promote it!
Now comes time to promote your webinar registration page everywhere that you can! There are so many cool ways to do that these days, and in this section let’s brainstorm 7 of the lowest hanging fruit ideas that come to mind!
Promoting Your Webinar Right On Your Blog
If you already have a blog then this is the perfect place to promote your webinar registration page! Maybe you could use a widget that lets you include a call to action at the end of every post.
Or, maybe you could include a fancy call to action on your widget sidebar, in your navigational menu, or any other location that your particular WordPress theme allows. Think outside the box, and don’t be afraid to share your awesome content with your readers!
How To Promote Your Webinars On Social Media In A Cool Way
A lot of social media platforms allow you to promote your website right within your social media profile these days.
Why not make a super powerful impact using this space, by providing your webinar registration page directly?
That way, everyone who visits your social media profiles can be cordially invited to visit one of your best pieces of content, that you’ve worked super hard to make awesome!
(You have every intention of making your webinar super awesome… Right? Then you may as well promote it here!)
Promoting Your Webinar Within Your Existing Books And Reports
If you have any existing books, lead magnets, or even reports, cheat sheets, or other written content that you hand out to your clients, or even customers, then you might consider adding a call to action right within this already content.
Make that call to action promote your webinar registration page. There are a few ways you could do this. Maybe you could create a new page in the front of your book, and promote your webinar there.
Or, maybe you could have a small call to action at the footer of every single page.
Or, perhaps, you’d like to have a call to action near the end of the book. If you already have books in your business, then this is an awesome avenue to consider.
Promoting Your Webinars Within Your Video Courses And Content
Do you have any online video content that you regularly create for your end users?
Maybe free videos, or even premium videos? If you do regularly create video content, then maybe you could add a call to action and a webinar invite at the end of the videos?
My philosophy is that if you’re already doing any type of content marketing, then you may as well invite your awesome viewers to your webinars.
And remember, these webinars are automated so your end users can register at 3:00 in the morning and they won’t miss the presentation, which is very very cool.
Promoting Your Webinar Via Pay Per Click Advertising
Of course, you can always promote your webinars via Pay Per Click advertising. This is arguably one of the fastest ways to promote your automated webinar.
If you want my advice here, it’s to always look for free coupons for whatever Pay Per Click marketplace that you use.
Personally I’ve found a ton of free coupons that work over the years, and sometimes, different marketplaces will run promotions or otherwise offer incentives for first time advertisers.
Try to get those free coupons, because there’s nothing like free advertising, I say!
Promoting Your Webinar Via Solo Ads AKA Email Advertising
Solo Ads are one of my favorite ways to build my audience, because they’re super easy to use.
Let me just mention that Solo Ads aren’t for everyone, though.
Because Solo Ads are usually in super general mainstream niches. Such as internet marketing, business, self-help, and weight loss.
So if your business is far outside these boundaries, then Solo Ads are definitely not for you. However, if your niche is super mainstream, then you might look to solo ads as a cool way to generate leads and to promote your webinar.
One pro tip here, is to ASK your Solo Ad Vendor to see if your webinar is a good match for their audience.
Also remember to try to find a solo ad vendor from a reliable marketplace.
If you’re not sure where to start, then consider checking out my Solo Ad Rolodex here.
Promoting Your Webinar Via Your Social Media Groups
Do you run any groups on social media? If that’s the case, then this is one of the most powerful assets that you have.
Because you can easily pin an invitation to your automated webinar right at the top of the page.
This way, whenever one of your awesome subscribers, fans, or social pals join or visit the group, they’re going to see the invitation slap dab right in the middle of their screen.
If you have intentions of creating many automated webinars, then you can periodically rotate your link here, so your end users always have something cool to check out, regardless of what time of year it is, or how long they’ve bene following you.
Thanks So Much For Checking This Out! You Rock!
This is a topic that I truly find fascinating, and it’s something that I’m brainstorming all the time.
Because I honestly believe, that webinars, and automated webinars especially, can make entrepreneurship a much better experience for the small one-person-army entrepreneurs of the world, like us!
So going forward, please have confidence in your ability to share awesome content, to help your end users, and to make a difference in the lives of your ideal client by hosting and sharing awesome webinars.
