Are you a Podcaster, or have you thought of starting your own Podcast? If that’s the case, then you’ve probably thought about how you can start promoting it to get more people to listen in!
If that’s the case, then you’re going to love this tutorial.
I’ve spent the last couple of hours brainstorming a ton of powerful methods that you can use to promote your Podcast.
The cool part, is that we’re going to discuss unique and totally creative ways to promote your Podcast that perhaps you’ve never thought of… Using ClickFunnels!
If you’re not familiar with ClickFunnels, it’s one of my favorite marketing tools that will allow you to build beautiful marketing pages and entire sales funnels for all situations.
If you’re creative, and want to think outside of the box, there are some really cool things you can do in order to promote your Podcast.
So let’s get started with an epic brainstorming session!
Podcast Promotional Method # 01 – On The Thank You Page Of Your Sales Funnel
One of the most creative ways that I can think of to promote your Podcast, is by promoting it within your sales funnel.
There are so many creative ways that you can do this.
Maybe you have a sales funnel that promotes one of your products, and you also have a “confirmation page”, a “thank you page”, or maybe even a membership page.
No matter how your marketing funnel or sales funnel is designed, it’s super easy to insert a clever call to action using ClickFunnels.
Maybe you could design a fancy graphical call to action, or you could simply use ClickFunnels to insert a button or other text based call to action inviting your end users to subscribe to your Podcast.
The reason why this is so powerful, because if any of your customers or new subscribers are inside of your sales funnel, there’s a good chance that this lead loves your stuff, which means that they’re the perfect listener to have, right?
Podcast Promotional Method # 02 – In Your Email Followup Sequences
Email marketing is without a doubt one of my favorite ways to promote absolutely anything.
The cool part about doing this, is that you have two different options. (You actually have many, many different options, but two main ones to talk about).
Your first option is to have a fully automated email autoresponder sequence that promotes your Podcast. Of course, you won’t be able to easily promote your new Podcasts in a timely fashion if you go this route, so maybe you could simply promote the main page of your Podcast.
Or, maybe you could promote your most popular Podcasts episodes using automation.
The advantage of using email automation, is that you can set it up once, and then just focus on building your email list. This way, your automated email campaign sends out automatically over and over again.
Your second option, is to send out fresh email broadcasts each and every time you launch a new Podcast.
This way requires a little more ongoing work of course, but has the advantage of you being able to promote your new Podcast episodes each and every time you launch a new show.

This will help you get a surge of new listeners each and every time you publish a new episode, which as you know has potential benefits to your confidence, Podcast directory listing, and your own inspiration.
Podcast Promotional Method # 03 – In The Beginning Of Your Digital Books
Publishing digital books is the coolest thing in the world.
Not only can you use these types of books as a powerful lead magnet, but you can also use it to promote your Podcast.
What I personally do, is have an entire library of e-books that I promote as lead magnets.
When subscribers agree to join my weekly newsletter, they get 17 of my best reports.
The best part, is that inside of that book, I can basically promote whatever I want.
I can promote my online courses, my other books, affiliate offers, or even Podcast episodes.
This same strategy could potentially work with physical books too.

Podcast Promotional Method # 04 – At The End Of Your Digital Courses
Online teaching is one of the coolest things in the world, because in my opinion the world of online learning is going to keep getting bigger and better.
Another cool advantage to having and teaching online courses, is that you can use your courses to promote absolutely anything you want.
So maybe at the end of the course, you can promote your email newsletter, your digital books, or in this case, your Podcast URL.
The cool thing about this, and one thing that I’m always ranting about, is that your online students are some of the best subscribers, and Podcast listeners you can ever have.
Because your students are statistically more likely (in my opinion) to know you, like you, and trust you.
Launching online courses is super simple using ClickFunnels; you can setup a total membership website if you want to, and setting up a sales page, and upsell pages is super simple using the ClickFunnels editor.
Podcast Promotional Method # 05 – At The End Of Your Automated Webinars
Hosting your own marketing webinars can be super powerful, especially if you want to generate leads, teach your audience awesome content, or otherwise promote your courses, books, or products.
Another thing that you could do, is briefly pitch the URL of your Podcast at the end of your webinars.
Or, you could even briefly mention that you have a Podcast at the beginning of your webinars.
So maybe at the end of your webinar, you could simply say something like this: “Thank you so much for attending this training event! If you want to learn more about the content that I give away for free, be sure to visit my weekly Podcast by visiting MrComputerScience.com” (or whatever your URL is lol).
This is totally an unorthodox method to promote your Podcast, but I’m a huge fan of webinar marketing and think that it’s a great way to generate leads, and to share awesome content.
By the way, creating entire webinar funnels is super simple with ClickFunnels. You can setup either live webinars, or automated webinars without any technical struggles.
Podcast Promotional Method # 06 – In Your Email List Building Funnels
Let’s pretend that you have an email funnel, complete with an awesome lead magnet, a lead capture page, a thank you page, and a download page.
You could easily plug your Podcast URL within every single page of your email funnel if you want to.
So maybe on your thank you page, you include a small call to action promoting your Podcast.
Additionally, on your thank you page, you could have another call to action that promotes your Podcast.
And then, in your email followups, you could promote your Podcasts there again.
The possibilities are endless here, because a quality email marketing funnel should focus on providing massive value to your new subscribers, and giving away awesome content in the form of your Podcast content is a great way to start, right?

Podcast Promotional Method # 07 – At The End Of Your Blog Posts
One thing you might want to consider, is turning your Podcasts into blog posts.
My philosophy is that, if you’re publishing regular Podcast content, then you may as well transcribe that content and turn it into a blog post.
That way, you can potentially double the impact that you get from every single piece of content that you ever create.
I mean, you’re already creating awesome content, right?
So, you may as well get the most out of it!
Then, at the end of every single blog post, you can remind your end users to subscribe to your Podcast URL.
Or, alternatively, you could instead promote your email marketing funnel at the end of your blog, and then promote your Podcast via your email list instead. (Once again, setting up an awesome email list building funnel is a piece of cake using ClickFunnels).
