If you’ve followed my content at all over the years then you realize the power of webinar marketing.
Webinars allow you to build an email list, generate leads, promote your products, all the while building a ton of authority and goodwill with your prospective audience.
ClickFunnels is definitely one of my favorite webinar marketing platforms because they make it so easy to build an entire webinar marketing funnel without any technical overwhelm or frustration.
But, How The Heck Do You Get People To Attend Your Webinar In The First Place?
The biggest hurdle you’re likely to encounter after you get your ClickFunnels webinar funnel up and running, is getting eyeballs on your actual webinar presentation.
One tip I love to give, is to promote your webinar registration page everywhere.
And I mean absolutely anywhere.
So ask yourself if you have any resources or pockets of social media followers that you could promote your webinar registration page on now?
Do You Have An Email List? That’s Probably The Best Way To Promote Your Webinar Registration Page!
If you’re fortunate enough to already have an email list, then that’s the first place you should consider promoting your webinar registration page.
There’s a few powerful reasons why this is a genius idea.
First of all, a webinar serves as a powerful mechanism upon which to share awesome content with your audience.
If you have strong rapport with your audience already, then you probably know exactly what types of problems they’re experiencing, and how you can really help them.
Hosting A Webinar For Your Audience Can Be A Short Term Sales Tool In Addition To A Long Term Sales Strategy!
So you can build an even stronger relationship with your email subscribers during the presentation, and of course you could also promote any of your products or offers.
But, what if you don’t have an email list yet?
Then there are two other big options. Paid advertising, and free advertising.
Let’s talk about a few cool paid advertising methods first.
You Could Promote Your Webinar Registration Page Via Solo Ads.
The very first webinar I ever promoted was during a time when I didn’t have much of an email list.
So, I immediately looked to the next best thing; someone else’s email list!
If you’re not familiar with solo ads, they’re basically when you pay a third party entrepreneur who does have an email list to promote your offer.
There are a ton of awesome solo ad marketplaces out there where a ton of email marketers sell advertisements to their email list, and usually this costs you about $.40 cents per click up to a few dollars per click.
Assuming that you can get your conversion rate above 50% for your webinar registration page, you could then look forward to generating webinar leads for about a few dollars per lead.
So during my first webinar, I spent a few hundred dollars advertising with solo ads and ended up getting about 400 registrants, which was a very powerful method to build my email list.
Another Powerful Way To Promote Your Webinar Registration Page Is Pay Per Click Advertising
Pay Per Click advertising is easily one of the most powerful methods to promote your webinar registration page these days.
The beauty of modern pay per click advertising is that you can hone in on your end user demographic in ways that will boggle your mind.
In other words, what interests do your ideal prospects have? How old are they? Where do they live? How much money do they make?
All of these variables are easily configured with Microsoft, Facebook, and Google Pay Per Click.
In fact, between those three companies you can easily source all the website traffic you could ever need period.
The biggest challenge you’ll have, is lowering your cost per click on these advertising networks which does require practice.
If you’re interested in learning more about how to get decent cost per click prices, then I would advise you to study the best practices for Facebook, Bing, and Google Pay Per Click.
There are tons of resource out there that go into intricate details for these services, and in my opinion they’re definitely worth looking into if you promote any type of webinar registration page or lead capture page in general.
Banner Ads Are Another Underrated Advertising Method For Webinar Registration Forms
There are a few of awesome banner ad marketplaces out there that you can find with a few Google searches that will allow you to advertise on some major niche websites in a variety of niches.
Banner advertising is interesting to me because in my opinion Google and Facebook kind of eliminated the majority of smaller banner networks out there because you can advertise on a ton of different websites using Google.
In other words, banner advertising marketplaces just aren’t as popular as they used to be, however, I can tell you that I’ve had really good results doing so in the past.
What Happens If You Don’t Have Much Of A Budget? How Do You Promote Your Webinar Registration Page Then?
In the event that you just don’t have much of a marketing budget, don’t fret! As someone who has been a professional student for much of my adult life, hey I get it.
There are still a ton of awesome methods you can use to promote your webinar without paying a single red cent.
One of my favorite methods, is of course through content marketing.
But what do I mean when I say content marketing, specifically?
Promoting Your Webinar On Social Media
If you have a Pinterest profile, a Twitter profile, an Instagram profile, or a Facebook profile, then you might consider sharing a link not only in your social media posts, but in your social media profile itself.
For example, I know for a fact that Twitter and Pinterest give you a specific space in your profile to share your website. Why not consider sharing your webinar registration link here, instead of just your homepage URL?
That way, you can hopefully attract the exact types of prospects that you’re interested in attracting, and hopefully if your webinar registration page has a decent opt-in rate then you could potentially have much better luck even if your social media profiles don’t have much traffic.
And, social media posts is another cool way to share your webinar registration page.
My advice is to not seem too spammy though, nobody wants to run into a terms of service violation or even worse seem like you’re needy.
So maybe you could create awesome content, and then simply add a PS at the end of your content with a call to action promoting your upcoming event.
Another Awesome Place To Promote Your Webinar Is On Your Blog!
If you have a blog, then that’s probably one of the best places to promote your webinar registration page.
I use a service called AddThis.com to add a top welcome bar, and also exit intent pops on every single blog post and page on all of my domains.
So it doesn’t matter what page or blog post my readers land on, I can promote absolutely anything I want using AddThis.com which is a freemium service, meaning you don’t have to pay a single red cent to get started.
The beauty of using your blog as a mechanism upon which to promote your webinar registration page. is that you can then promote your blog everywhere you can to double the impact.
Meaning you can promote your blog on your social media profiles, in your Kindle books, in your online video courses, or absolutely anywhere.
And you can do so in confidence because you’ll know for a fact that your blog is a powerful lead generation asset that is working hard to promote your webinars.
In Summary, Promote Your ClickFunnels Webinar Registration Page Everywhere!
If you write Kindle books, then promote your webinar registration page in your Kindle books.
If you create online courses, then plug your webinar at the end of your course.
If you write articles, then promote your webinar registration page at the end of every article.
Ask yourself what type of content you’re creating now, and then spend a ton of time brainstorming how you can add a tiny call to action at the end of that content that plugs your webinar registration page!
There are so many awesome ways to advertise and publish content these days.
With a little creativity and brainstorming power, there’s no limit to all of the cool places that you can plug your event.
