In fact, I believe that email marketing is far superior to SEO, because there are so many variables outside your control when it comes to the search engines.
That being said, there are a few strategies worth considering if you want to promote your lead capture page SEO.
The Basic Strategy Of Promoting Your ClickFunnels Funnel With SEO
There are two main strategies to talk about.
The first strategy, is inserting your lead capture page as a call to action within all of your articles and blog posts.
So, you could write an awesome article, and then simply insert a “PS” at the end of the document, or maybe create an awesome banner to insert inside the very body of your content.

The single best strategy, I believe, is to create your content for humans. Content that’s actually fun to read!
Let me tell you a story about ghostwriting. I’m a level 2 seller on Fiverr.com, and most of the gigs I’ve earned there have been as a ghostwriter.
So many clients were worried about keyword density that they actually didn’t care as much about the quality of the content.
In my opinion, the single best SEO hack is to ensure that your content is awesome.
If your content is awesome, and if people actually love it, then you might have a better chance of improving your bouncerate.
Your readers might also be more likely to share your content.
The Search Engines Want To Promote Content That People Read. So Create Content That People Love!
I have a secret hunch that creating content that people love is the number one method to create awesome SEO content.
A lot of people and SEO gurus will disagree with me here.
But remember that the major search engines want to share content that people find to be helpful.
If you create articles for the sole purpose of being quote un quote “SEO articles”, then you’re missing out on the prime variable, which is usefulness.
If humans love your content, they will be more inclined to click on your call to action.
They’ll be more included to share your content.
And, if Google and Microsoft believe that your content rocks, I believe that they’re more likely to list the content prominently in Google and Bing respectively.
More importantly, if your content is useful, your end users are probably more likely to actually READ and consume your content.
I Apologize For The Long Rant About SEO Strategy. Let’s Get Back To The Basics!
If you want to promote your lead capture page that promotes your lead magnets, webinar registration pages, and lead generation funnels, then ask yourself what type of content your ideal prospects want?
What are the top 5, 10, or even 100 questions and frustrations that your prospects have?
Spend a boatload of time brainstorming questions that your prospects have, that way, you’ll have a never ending list of awesome content ideas that you can create for them.
Because if it’s your purpose to promote your email newsletter or lead magnet via the search engines, it doesn’t hurt to have a boatload of hooks in the water right?
So, one great strategy is to be prolific in your content creation.
Imagine if you mustered the energy and creativity to create a brand new piece of content every single day?
Then, at the end of the content, you could simply promote a banner or any type of call to action that promotes your ClickFunnels lead magnet.
Let’s Talk About The Bare SEO Essentials: First Is Google And Microsoft Webmaster Tools
One of the first things you want to do when you’re starting any type of search engine marketing campaign, is to ensure that your website feed is properly listed in Google webmaster tools, in addition to Microsoft webmaster tools.
In my opinion, this is one of the most important steps to ensuring that your blog posts and articles get properly listed in the fastest way possible.
So, search for Google webmaster tools, and Microsoft webmaster tools.
You’ll have to confirm that you own the website that you want listed. You can accomplish that by easily adding a tiny line of code to your website, or otherwise adding a snippet of some sort that the search engine gives you.
This should only take a second really, and once you’ve proven that you own the website in question you can then add your website’s feed.
If you have no idea what a feed is, it’s usually an XML file that lists every single page on your blog or website.
Your Blog’s Feed Contains Every Single Page In Your Website In Language That The Search Engines Understand
By default, usually your blog feed can be found by adding “/feed” at the end of your domain.
So you can type in mrcomputerscience.com/feed and see my feed.
There are also tons of WordPress plugins that will automatically generate more advanced XML feeds for you.
Simply search the WordPress plugin directory for XML feeds, and find one with the best reviews.
Why Blog Feeds Are A Search Engine Marketers Secret Weapon
A good blog feed does all the hard work for you; it literally promotes itself to Google and Bing once you tell Google webmaster tools and Microsoft webmaster tools the URL of your blog’s feed.
So each and every time you post a new piece of content, your XML feed accurately updates and catalogs your new blog post.
This is one of the most important steps to ensuring that your content is properly listed in Google and Microsoft.
So make sure to find your feed URL, and if your website doesn’t have one, consider adding a plugin that automatically creates one.
If You Don’t Have A Blog, Consider The Huge Search Engine Power of YouTube
In the event that you don’t have a blog, or even if you don’t like the idea of creating articles, then you might look at YouTube as a great way to promote your ClickFunnels lead capture page.
Because, as you know, YouTube is one of the largest search engines on the planet, so simply by posting content on YouTube you can rank in the search engines without much added effort.
So, go back to the basic idea of writing down the top 25 questions that your audience has.
You could then create a video that talks about those frustrations, and then maybe at the end of the video, you could insert a cool call to action promoting your ClickFunnels lead capture page.
Or, maybe you could also promote your lead capture page within the description of your YouTube video itself.
If You’re Already Writing Blog Posts And Articles, Why Not Turn That Content Into A Video Anyway?
One of my longterm philosophies, is that it’s hard to create content.
Especially if you’re a one-person content army without an army of outsourcers.
For that reason, it’s so important to repurpose your content.
One of the best ways, in my opinion, to repurpose your blog content, is by turning that content into videos.
You can then take the same exact content, and get more out of it.
All you would need to do, is create a cool PowerPoint presentation, and record your article with a program like ActivePresenter or Camtasia, and then upload that content on YouTube.
Boom. You’ve now received double the impact with the same exact content, and now theoretically you’ve doubled your SEO power.
