Are you thinking about starting your own sales funnel or marketing funnel promotion? If that’s the case, then try this on for size…
One of the best ways to promote your content these days, is by content marketing.
The sad thing is that most people will overlook promoting their marketing and sales funnels by creating high quality blog content.
Here’s an interesting strategy that’s super easy to overlook, but can be a really cool way to pick up your marketing up a notch.
First, Let’s Talk About The Advantage Of Having A Premium Sales Funnel With ClickFunnels
Have you ever been frustrated because you want to build your email list, sell your online products, host webinars, or have a secure membership area?
Or maybe you’ve banged your head against your desk (lol) because you just can’t figure out all of the technical hurdles that exist between you and having a beautiful marketing presence.
If that’s the case, then as a dedicated (and Comp TIA certified IT nerd) can recommend ClickFunnels without hesitation.
Why ClickFunnels? Because if you use ClickFunnels you’ll be able to tap into a massive collection of beautiful marketing templates that you can edit and customize using a super simple to use drag and drop editor.
So it doesn’t matter what style fonts, images, graphics or headlines you want.

But Once You Have Your Funnel How Can You Promote It With Search Engine Optimization?
The reality is that content marketing is one of my favorite ways to generate leads, and to promote my own marketing funnels.
The number one reason why I love content marketing, is because it’s arguably much cheaper than paying for traffic via pay per click.
So, if you’re thrifty like me, or if you just don’t have the biggest budget in mind, then promoting your marketing funnel via SEO might be a stroke of genius.
Here’s The Top Secret To Getting Your Marketing Funnel Indexed By The Big Search Engines
Obviously, the average marketing funnel isn’t really the best source of content that search engines love.
Face it.
Marketing funnels are relatively thin from a content perspective; how many words does a lead capture page have? A few hundred, tops?
What about a video sales letter, or a webinar registration page? How many words do these pages have? Maybe 100, 200, or 300 words tops?
That’s why, getting your marketing funnels indexed directly can be a massive pain, and in my opinion, this isn’t the ideal strategy.
A Much Better Strategy, Is To Focus On Creating Powerful Blog Post Content.
In my opinion, it’s a much better strategy to focus on creating awesome blog post content.
That way, you can create a ton of awesome blog posts.
Maybe your blog posts are 500 words long, 1,000 words long, or even 3,000 words long.
And then, you can creatively insert calls to action pointing to your marketing funnels within your blog posts.
Or, maybe you can have sidebar widgets with banners that promote your marketing funnels.
That way, every single piece of content that you ever write, promotes your marketing funnel.
Why Is This Such A Genius Idea? Here’s Why…
Another reason why blogging frequently, and using that blog content to promote your ClickFunnels funnel, is because you can then share that blog content.
So you can share it on Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus, Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media network that you like.
So, instead of just promoting your marketing funnel over and over again on your Facebook page (which would tire out and probably annoy your friends, lol), you can instead promote your FRESH and UNIQUE blog posts as frequently as you can create them.
This way, you’ll be creating fresh and unique blog post content as frequently as you can, while at the same time, promoting your marketing funnels INDIRECTLY.
So you can still hustle hard creating valuable content, and if your end users like your content, hopefully they are compelled to click on your ads that point to your marketing funnel.
What Type Of Marketing Funnel Can You Promote? Let’s Talk Strategy…
Once you start experimenting with ClickFunnels, you can browse among a massive array of done for you marketing funnels.
We’re talking about webinar funnels, video sales letter funnels, lead magnet funnels, affiliate bridge funnels, and a ton of other funnels that I’m forgetting.
The main strategy that I can recommend, is to ask yourself what problems and frustrations your end users are having, and then create a lead magnet that solves that problem.
So, if you’re like me, and are in the marketing niche, then here would be a few cool lead magnet ideas:
- Lead magnet idea # 01 – 10 awesome ways to generate leads for your business.
- Lead magnet idea # 02 – How to get website traffic for your offers.
- Lead magnet idea # 03 – How to get free pay per click coupons!
- Lead magnet idea # 04 – How to plan the perfect automated webinar.
The main strategy here, is to know your end user enough to the point where you can know for sure what types of content they would love, and then to know what type of blockbuster lead magnet would go over effectively.
How To Brainstorm Nonstop Content Ideas So You Can Promote Your Funnels Nonstop
One of the best content creation ideas that I personally know of, is to conduct research on your end users on Quora.com.
Quora is the single best way that I know of to research your end user demographic.
You can literally type in any keyword you want. Maybe you can type in “weight loss”, “keto diet”, “low carb diet”, “diet scams” “diet frustration”, or any keyword that you want. (We’re assuming you’re in the weight loss niche for this case lol).
Once you type in a keyword, you can then research the very real questions that your prospects are asking.
This is, in my opinion, the single best way to brainstorm nonstop keyword and content ideas for your blog posts.
Because the content you’re creating, is derived from the exact frustrations and curiosities of your end users. It doesn’t get more direct than that, does it?
One Final Tip To Ensure That Your Content Rocks
Always try your best to insert an awesome call to action promoting your marketing funnel at the end of your content!
A lot of my colleagues are “shy” to promote their funnels, because they don’t want to seem like a pest.
My advice, is to remember that if you create valuable and helpful content, that you have nothing to be ashamed about.
In fact, always remember, that if you have valuable services to promote, that you’re doing your audience a favor by sharing it to the world!
