How Does Udimi Help To Generate Leads?
If you’re interested in generating email leads, then Udimi can be tremendously powerful.
I’ve personally ordered over 100 solo ads on Udimi, and as a result, have generated many thousands of leads.
That’s why I’m personally a huge advocate of Udimi, because it’s a very simple email list building service, and no matter how large or small your budget is, you can start promoting your lead capture pages without any fuss or hassle.
Udimi Solo Ads Can Be Great For Helping To Build Your Email List, Here’s Why…
If you’re familiar with a solo ad, it’s basically when an email newsletter owner, an email marketer, or someone with any type of email list sells you an email based advertisement.
Once you buy a solo ad, the solo ad vendor will then send your individual advertisement to their email newsletter.
The reason why Udimi solo ads can be a really powerful way to build your email list, is because end users who are receiving the solo ad are already on an email list!
In my honest opinion, this probably means that they are receptive to receiving email newsletter or email marketing content, and are probably statistically more likely to at least enjoy that type of content compared to the average internet user. (Because, they are already on one email newsletter list, so they seem to enjoy content in this format).
Why Solo Ads Are One Of My Favorite Lead Generation Methods
There are two reasons why solo ads are one of my favorite ways to generate leads.
First of all. solo ads can be really inexpensive compared to other pay per click methods.
You can usually find a solo ad for around $.40 per click at the lower end, and usually the clicks aren’t that much more than $1 per click. (So, forty cents on the low and, and maybe a buck on the high end).
Compare that cost of traffic to other pay per click methods, where the cost is sometimes much, much higher than a dollar per click.
It’s true that a solo ad isn’t as targeted as say a search engine click, but also remember that solo ads are cheaper on average, and are therefore in my opinion worth considering and learning more about.
Another reason why I love solo ads, is because they’re very easy, and very fast.
If you’ve ever been frustrated when trying to lower your cost of pay per click by using the massive advertising networks, then solo ads might be a breath of fresh air, because the prices are agreed upon before your campaign is even started.
So maybe you buy a solo ad of 100 clicks for $.50 cents per click for $50.
Once your advertisement is purchased, and once the solo ad vendor has agreed and approved your advertisement, then you job is essentially done. You can now just sit back, relax, and track your traffic.
This is opposed to other pay per click methods where you constantly have to adjust your bids and otherwise try to minimize cost and increase performance.
Solo ads aren’t perfect. But, I honestly think that the biggest advantage that they deliver is that they are just easier, and cheaper than other advertising methods.
If you’re lazy (and cheap, lol) like I am, then you might really love solo ads.
Are Solo Ads Good For All Niches? My Honest Two Cents…
There’s one story that I always tell my students who ask about solo ads.
That story is this; pretend that you’re in an American mall, or a Walmart store.
Also pretend that you begin asking random shoppers if they would be interested in your business.
Would at least 40% of the people you ask be interested?
If the answer is yes, then solo ads might be an awesome fit. If not, then solo ads might be a terrible idea.
The reason this is true, is because solo ad vendors usually have a very mainstream email newsletter, in niches such as “internet marketing”, “business opportunity”, “weight loss”, “health”, “self-help”, and other very mainstream niches.
If your business is in a popular niche, then solo ads might be a dream come true.
If on the other hand, you have a very narrowly targeted business, or if you are in a very small niche, then solo ads aren’t your best bet.
(I’d also like to include a side note here, and say that it is technically possible to find solo ad vendors, or an email newsletter owner in a very mainstream niche who may be willing to sell you an advertisement, however, this would be a very special case. I would say that on average, I find that the majority of solo ad vendors are in VERY mainstream niches, so if you have a very rare or unique business and offer, additional footwork will be required to find a suitable email newsletter for you to advertise in).
My Favorite Udimi Feature
The single best feature that I appreciate the most on Udimi is the ability to leave public reviews for your solo ad vendor!
So, if you ever buy a solo ad on Udimi and you get great results, you can leave a review for the solo ad vendor. Alternatively, if you get bad results, you can also leave a review saying that as well.
To be honest, the reason why these public reviews are so powerful is that only verified buyers are allowed to leave reviews.
This, in my opinion, helps to dramatically reduce the number of fraudulent or “fake” reviews that are possible outside of a marketplace.
So, heck yes, the transparency of the reviews on Udimi are in my opinion one of their best features.
Another thing, that’s ridiculously important, is that you can also note in your review if the advertisement made you SALES.
I can’t stress this enough; always look for solo ad vendors who produce SALES for their customers.
After studying the world of solo ads thoroughly, I can tell you that this is the single most important thing to look for in a solo ad review.
I would rather buy a solo ad from a vendor who produces SALES rather than anyone else.
Because, sales are sanity, everything else is vanity!
What’s The Deal With Udimi? Is It Free?
Udimi.com is one of the world’s largest Solo Ad Networks. Udimi is very special in this sense because it’s comprised of many different Solo Ad Vendors who are ready to sell advertising to you, or other marketers.
A solo ad vendor is essentially an email newsletter owner who will sell you an advertisement. Usually, solo ad buyers on Udimi prefer to promote their own lead capture page, so they can generate leads and build their email list.
Udimi.com is technically free to join, however, if you want to pay for advertising then it costs money. (I’ll also show you how you can claim a free $5 ad credit later on in this post).
When you register to Udimi, you can start to browse their forum, look for solo ad deals, and you can also communicate with other members to discuss solo ad deals, or to ask questions of any solo ad vendors.
Of course, if you wish to buy advertisements, then you have to pay for the solo ad clicks.
How Much Does Udimi Cost On Average?
It’s important to note that a solo ad is referred to as a solo ad because when you buy a solo ad, the newsletter owner sends your email invidually, or “solo”.
The advertisement you buy, is therefore referred to as a “solo ad”.
It’s also important to remember that when you buy a solo ad, you’re really paying for clicks. A number of clicks will be agreed upon before you start your ad, for an agreed upon rate.
Usually, and in my experience, a solo ad will cost anywhere from $.40 to $1 per click. (Forty cents to one dollar per click).
So, if you buy a 100 click solo ad, you can expect to pay anywhere from $40 to $100.
How Do Solo Ads Work? Are They Good For Email List Building?
Once you buy your solo ad, the vendor will then set a date and time to send your ad, and usually they’ll share that information with you.
The solo ad vendor then schedules your email advertisement to go out to their email list.
The cool part, is that immediately after you place your solo ad order, Udimi creates a unique URL that the solo ad vendor is to use to promote your link.
That way, you can easily track the statistics in the Udimi dashboard, and you can see in real time how much traffic your advertisement is getting.
What Do You Get When You Register For A Free Udimi Account?
When you register for Udimi, you can login and check out the solo ad marketplace.
There you can search for solo ad vendors, solo ad deals, and you can also interact on the forum to see what hot topics are happening now in the world of solo ads and email marketing.
Udimi also gives you the ability to access a bunch of cool statistics and data when you eventually buy solo ads, which is really cool if you’re a marketing nerd or someone who just loves to analyze data.
How Does Udimi Work? How Does Udimi Make Money?
Each time you buy an advertisement on Udimi, the Udimi marketplace charges a small percentage to help make a profit.
That’s essentially how Udimi makes money, they charge you a small fee in order to keep their business up and running.
You’ll probably find that the fees are rather small, and they are required in my opinion because if Udimi didn’t generate any revenue, then it would be impossible for their team to make improvements on their service, or to even keep their community running, right?
Is There Any Way To Get Free Udimi Credits?
If you’re curious to learn more about Udimi, then I invite you to register using my affiliate link on this page.
When you register via my affiliate link, you’ll actually get a free $5 ad spend credit for your account.
You might be thinking that $5 is a paltry amount (lol), however, in this day and age every penny counts!

Does Udimi Help To Track Your Clicks?
Once you start ordering sales on Udimi, you’ll then get to see the Udimi.com click filter and click tracker in action.
This is rather quite simple to use, and not much effort is required on your behalf other than to refresh the statistics panel to see your clicks coming in.
Obviously, and hopefully, you’ll be able to see subscribers coming in via your email autoresponder as well, which is arguably more important than how many clicks you get, however, and that being said, Udimi also gives you some cool statistics and data if you love this kind of nerdy marketing stuff (lol).
Is Udimi Easy To Use For New Advertisers? My Two Cents…
In my humble and honest opinion, Udimi is very easy to use.
First of all, I love the forum and am regularly lurking on there (lol) to see what the latest trends and questions are in the world of email marketing and solo ads.
I think that the community on Udimi is very helpful, and there’s a lot of people over there who are trying to learn from one another, and also help out newcomers as well. So, if you have any solo ad questions, then the forum is a great place to start. (Or, you can always ask me, as you know, I’ve got your back!)
There’s also a friendly support staff on Udimi who will happily give you help or pointers if you have any questions.
