Are You New To Email List Building? Then You Might Love Udimi!
If you’re new to the world of email marketing, email list building, and lead generation, then maybe you’ve been wondering about Udimi Solo Ads and if they might be a good idea for your business?
I’ve been studying and researching Solo Ads or a while now, and to be honest I also teach a really popular course on Solo Ads, and as a result, I’ve put even more thoughts into this world of Solo Ads.
So, I feel like I’m a great person to brainstorm Solo Ads with, and in this blog post I’m going to share some of my best insights and wisdom regarding Solo Ads.
Why Udimi Can Be A Great Way To Build Your Email List
Everyone knows that email marketing rocks, and having a huge email list can be a super powerful way to share your content with the world.
The biggest problem, obviously, is generating leads in the first place!
That’s why I think that Udimi Solo Ads are a really cool way to build your email list and to generate leads.
In order to expound on this idea, it’s important to briefly explain how Solo Ads work.
When you order a Solo Ad, what you’re really ordering is an email advertisement from a Solo Ad Vendor.
A Solo Ad Vendor is a marketer or an entrepreneur who manages some type of email list, or email newsletter.
When you send them a request to buy an advertisement, the Solo Ad Vendor will review your ad, and then decide if it will be a good match for your audience.
If they decide that your ad would be a good match, then they will set a specific date and time to send your ad, and then when the time comes they’ll send out your ad copy to their email list.
Here’s Exactly What You Need To Get Started With Solo Ads
If you want to get started with Solo Ads, the very first thing you need is some type of Lead Capture Page, or a Squeeze Page.
Ideally, you would have a fully fledged marketing funnel, because then you’ll be able to get the most impact, and if you have a proper marketing funnel you can also try your best to split test, and optimize your marketing funnel so you can strive to get the best results.
If you have a good Lead Capture Page, and if it’s ready to go, then the next thing you need is a good Solo Ad Swipe.
A Solo Ad Swipe is basically the exact text that the Solo Ad Vendor will send out to their subscribers.
Usually I try to keep this short and sweet, and usually I try to keep it under 200 words.
One reason why you might want to keep your Solo Ad Swipe short, is because if your copy is too long, then the Solo Ad Vendor might be hesitant to send it! (Becaues, they want to get as many clicks from their newsletter as possible if they’re selling a Solo Ad, and if your copy is too long, it might not get many clicks).
In any event, once you write a good Solo Ad Swipe, you might want to share it with your Solo Ad Vendor to see if they agree to send it.
Also, I want to let you know that I have a ton of experience writing Solo Ad Copy, and I’d be happy to give you my honest two cents on yours if you ever wish to brainstorm with me.
What Is A Solo Ad And Why Are They Worth Considering?
The reason a “Solo Ad” is called a Solo Ad, is because your advertisement gets sent out in an “individual email”, in other words your advertisement is meant to get sent “Solo”.
That means a Solo Ad is an email advertisement, and the email should be dedicated to your advertisement and your advertisement only.
The reason why I personally love Solo Ads, and the reason why I personally believe that they’re worth considering, is because they can be both cheap and fast to deploy.
So if you’re building an email list building funnel that you want to test, or if you just want to test out your newest email autoresponder campaign without spending a fortune, then a Solo Ad can be a really cool way to generate some leads quickly and without breaking the bank.
My advice, obviously, is to always start small! That way, you can see if Solo Ads will be a good match for your particular Lead Capture Page, Sales Funnel, or Offer.
Do You Need A Lead Capture Page To Use Udimi?
I would say that, no, in theory, you don’t necessarily need a Lead Capture Page or a Squeeze Page in order to use Udimi Solo Ads.
However, and that being said, I would say that in the majority of instances, promoting a Lead Capture Page is the most common state of affairs.
That being said, maybe you want to promote a sales page, a sales funnel, or one of your product pages, and you don’t want to build your email list right away?
If that’s the case, then the best advice I can give you is to simply contact a Solo Ad Vendor that you like, and simply ask if they would consider promoting any page that you had in mind.
Some Solo Ad Vendors might agree to ONLY send free offers to their email newsletter, such as a Lead Capture Page, a Lead Magnet Funnel, or a Squeeze Page. However, I also think that it never hurts to ask, especially if you ask politely, right?
Does Udimi Help To Build Your Lead Capture Page?
Unfortunately, and at this time, Udimi doesn’t directly help to build your Lead Capture Page, and you have to build one on your own.
That being said, I have seen many Solo Ad Vendors generously offer to give you tips and pointers on your Lead Capture Page, so this might be something worth checking out if you ever have any questions on that front.
In addition, I do invite you to contact me if you ever want to get my honest two cents on your Lead Capture Page.
But, always remember, that the only way to see how your Lead Capture Page is going to convert, is by testing it! I’ll be happy to share my opinion, but my opinion is just that, and sometimes it can be very difficult to figure out what works and what doesn’t.
Is Udimi Expensive? How Much Does It Cost?
Udimi is free to join, however, when you actually but an advertisement that is what costs the money.
So, if you want to register to Udimi just to see what it’s like, then that won’t cost you a single red cent.
Once you register, you can then begin to browse for a Solo Ad Vendor you like, and you can also check out the forum to introduce yourself, ask questions, or just spy on the Solo Ad and Email Marketing Regulars and what topics are red hot at the moment.
How Do You Know If Udimi Is Right For You?
At the end of the day, I personally love Solo Ads, and they can be a really cool advertising method if you’re in a mainstream niche.
It’s important to remember that Solo Ad Vendors almost always have email newsletters in a very mainstream niche, such as marketing, biz op, health, diet, self-help, and niches along those lines.
So if you run a Pizza Shop in Queens New York, and if you want to generate foot traffic to your Pizza Joint, then Solo Ads aren’t your best bet.
If on the other hand, you have an email newsletter in the Work At Home Niche, or the Internet Marketing Niche, then Solo Ads might rock.
My advice is to always start small, and if you ever want to test out your marketing funnels, never buy more than 100 clicks to test things out and check for initial feasibility.
Also be sure to contact a few Solo Ad Vendors, invite them to look at your Lead Capture Page and request their honest feedback. They know their email subscribers better than anyone, and can hopefully shed some insight as to how your advertisement might perform.
