How Affiliate Marketers Can Generate Leads With ClickFunnels

If you’re an affiliate marketer, then one of the most important things you have to worry about in your business is lead generation!

More importantly, if ClickFunnels can actually help you to generate leads.

My answer to that question is yes, I honestly believe, after email marketing since around 2010 and after generating many thousands of leads, that yes, ClickFunnels is capable of helping you to generate leads.

But maybe you’re banging your head against the wall in frustration because you have absolutely no clue how to get started?

If that’s the case, then I’m going to talk about a few free lead generation (content marketing) methods and some cool brainstorm exercises designed specifically for affiliate marketers in this lecture.

It’s important to remember that strategy is ultimately more important than anything. So, I’m going to focus on lead generation strategy that I’ve used to generate leads for quite some time.

You are also brainstorm some really cool lead magnet ideas that match your end user demographic.

But First, Let Me Talk About My Private Little Hypothesis.

I hypothesize that just about every business needs leads.

But as we all know – getting leads can be the most difficult thing in the world.

A lot of smart marketing experts all claim that roughly about 90% of startups fail.

I wonder then, what percentage of those startups fail simply due to a lack of leads?

I Know This For A Fact – Plenty Of My Own Projects Have Failed Dismally.

Those projects didn’t fail for lack of creativity, due diligence, or a lack of trying on my part.

The projects failed, because of a lack of leads.

A lack of leads is always one of my own personal fail points historically.

Anyway, sorry for the rant.

Why Email Marketing Is Vitally Important For All Affiliate Marketers!

There are a few major reasons why email marketing is powerful for affiliate marketers.

First of all, email marketing allows you to interact with your prospects, recommend products, provide awesome training, and stay up to date into perpetuity. (Or, until your prospect unsubscribes).

Either way, email marketing is a very powerful method that allows you to interact with your prospect and share absolutely anything that you want.

So you can promote your affiliate links, your webinar presentations, your special promotions, and almost anything else that you had in mind – like blog posts, YouTube videos, Podcasts, special promotions or events, and even your webinars events.

How Can Affiliate Marketers Build A Killer Email Marketing Funnel?

There are so many awesome landing page designers and content management tools that allow you to create beautiful marketing content.

It doesn’t matter how advanced or simple you want your email marketing funnel to be.

1. Maybe you just want a simple lead capture page and a thank you page.
2. Or maybe you want a thorough and advanced webinar marketing funnel.
3. Maybe you want an entire litany of offers with upsells, downsells and cross sells.
4. Maybe you want an awesome member’s area for new subscribers.

Building Landing Pages For Email Lead Generation Is Super Simple. Please Don’t Stress About This!

Graphic designing, and the technical side of things should never hold you down.

Because there are copious quantities, of awesome templates out there that you can use for entire email funnels!

ClickFunnels is one of my personal favorites, because their email marketing and lead generation templates are designed by super smart marketers.

However, one thing I recommend is that you always keep your end users in mind. That’s always more important than the graphic design of any promotion!

For example, always remember to ask yourself about your prospective buyers, and we’ll brainstorm more in this lecture about how you can do that.

Just remember, that your entire email marketing funnel is never about you.

It’s always about your end users, their problems, their frustrations, and how your affiliate marketing offers can help them. So your affiliate offer can hopefully solve whatever problem your prospect has easier than they would be able to solve that problem on their own.

The good news, is that there are so many awesome sales funnels tools out there to create beautiful and automated lead generation funnels.

Simply creating a lead capture page used to be a ton of effort.

These days, creating dashing, and beautiful lead magnets and lead capture pages can be done (or outsourced) without much overwhelm.

Before You Generate Leads For Your Affiliate Marketing Business, Ask Yourself This One Question:

What’s the main pain point of your prospects?

In other words, what frustrations are your potential customers, of your affiliate products?

1. Do they want to lose weight?
2. Do they want to secure their retirement?
3. Do they want a business loan?
4. Do they want to start a business?
5. Do they want to generate leads for their existing business?

Why Intimate Knowledge Of Your Prospective Buyer Is So Important:

The point of this rant, is because your entire lead generation process begins with your end user in mind.

So you can create awesome content, that speaks directly to your audience. And then you focus on promoting that content everywhere!

Another hidden gem, is to PROMOTE your lead magnet inside of that content.

What Do I Mean By That?

So you could create an awesome blog post that teaches a topic, and then add a PS to the end of the blog post promoting your lead magnet.

You could then repurpose that exact same content, and turn it into a Podcast. And then a YouTube video. And then social media content. And then you could even share your blog post on different blogging platforms (Steemit, Quora, Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, Medium – and others).

The main point of this, is so you can create awesome content that actually helps your end users. And then, that content, promotes your lead magnet.

Then You Can Promote That Content, And Your Lead Magnet, Everywhere!

So, it all comes back around to your ideal audience, or your ideal prospects.

Ask yourself, WHO are the people who are most interested in the affiliate marketing products that you’re selling? And what types of problems are they having?

Most importantly, what’s one awesome thing that you could give away, that your prospects would actually want?

In other words – what’s the PERFECT lead magnet that you can promote for your prospect?

What’s the best type of content that you can create to help your ideal audience?

What topic of content should you create in your email followup sequence?

What about webinars, blog posts, YouTube videos, and Podcasts?

What’s Your Long-Term Lead Generation Plan?

Once you’ve created and repurposed a ton of content for content marketing purposes – what are you going to do next?

Your next step, is to be continually creating awesome content.

Create content for your prospective leads, and also leads who have already joined your email list.

In Summary, Here’s How Affiliate Marketers Can Focus On Generating Leads:

1. Know who your prospective buyers are, and what problems they have.
2. Design an awesome lead magnet that your prospects would actually want, and use.
3. Create awesome content that helps, and speaks to the problems that your prospects have.
4. Insert a call to action into your content promoting your lead magnet (via an awesome lead capture page + email funnel).
5. Promote that content everywhere! (Blogs, Podcasts, YouTube, Social Media, et cetera).
6. Followup with your email subscribers with awesome content that provides great value.
