These days, the popularity of e-commerce is exploding, which means that you might be looking at different methods to sell your physical products.
So maybe you’ve been looking at products like ClickFunnels, and want to see if it’s a good idea to use ClickFunnels to sell your physical products?
Well my humble two cents is that yes, you can definitely sell your physical products using ClickFunnels.
But, is ClickFunnels ideal for your e-commerce store?
ClickFunnels Can Be Great Under The Following Situations
In my opinion, ClickFunnels is awesome if you have a handful of physical products that you want to sell.
So maybe you have one particular physical product that you want to sell; let’s pretend that you sell professionally baked cookies.
There are a few advantages to selling your physical product via a ClickFunnels funnel.
First of all, you can make your marketing funnel look really awesome using ClickFunnels, and there are tons of done for you marketing templates that you can use, so your funnel is going to look great.
Another reason why having a ClickFunnels funnel is so powerful, is because you can easily offer an upsell, or multiple upsells.
So maybe once you end users buy a basket of your baked cookies, you can offer an upsell, maybe 5 baskets of your baked cookies as a massive discount.
Or, you could even go the recurring option, and have a recurring upsell where your customers could order 3 baskets of baked cookies each and every month.
These are just a few advantages of having a ClickFunnels funnel for your e-commerce product.
When Is ClickFunnels Not Ideal For Your E-commerce Store?
The thing to remember about ClickFunnels, is that it’s super easy to use.
There are done for you templates, and you can design every single page within the funnel using the ClickFunnels drag and drop editor, which is based in the cloud and super easy.
But remember, even though ClickFunnels is super easy to use, it can be impractical to have a unique sales funnel if you have thousands, or tens of thousands of products.
So, ClickFunnels might not be the best choice if you’re trying to launch an online store, and have many thousands of products.
That being said, even if you do have an existing online store with many thousands of physical products, you could still have full sales funnels for a select few of your products.
So maybe you could create a unique sales funnel for your top 5, 10, or even 20 products.
Does that make sense?
That way, you can create funnels for your best selling products, and you could even promote the rest of your store to your customers after they buy. It’s as easy as creating a link to your traditional webstore on the “order confirmation page” of your funnel.
So maybe after your end users buy your gourmet cookies, you could then promote the rest of your products on your order confirmation page, or you could even mail your customers a physical catalog of your other products.
It’s as easy as inserting a cool looking link, maybe with the following headline “If you love my gourmet cookies, then click here to check out my cookie factory shop where we bake thousands of cookies every single month!”.
That link could point directly to your other store. So even if you don’t want to create a sales funnel for all of your products, you can still hyperlink to your other products. This is a nifty idea, and I hope that this makes sense!
A Few Tips For Selling Your E-commerce Product Using ClickFunnels
The best part about ClickFunnels is that there are so many powerful marketing funnels that are totally done for you.
So you can just load up one of their templates, and then customize it for your own style and for your own brand.
Everything is already done for you, including the sales page, the order forms, the confirmation page, and different upsell pages.
All you have to do is edit everything to match your own style.
One piece of advice that you might love, is to include different high resolution images of your products.
If you’re worried about how to host the images, don’t worry, because ClickFunnels makes it super easy to upload all of your images, no matter how large they are, into the ClickFunnels cloud so you can easily drag and drop your way into awesome customization, without knowing how to write a single line of computer code and without being frustrated from any of the technical overwhelm.
There’s also areas where you can easily upload testimonials from your favorite customers, or videos showcasing your awesome gourmet cookies (or whatever product you’re selling lol).
Why Email List Building Can Be Super Powerful For E-commerce Vendors
Always remember, that once your end users decide to purchase your products, you can automatically add them to your email list so you can followup with them.
This presents a wonderful opportunity for you as an e-commerce vendor, because you can do a bunch of awesome marketing tricks once you get their email address.
You can send them valuable email newsletter content, you can remind them of your promotions, or you can even remind them of your one time offers and upsells if the customer didn’t buy.
The truth of that matter is that you can do so many awesome things; maybe you could even host a monthly webinar, where you showcase your best baked cooking secrets, and offer special discounts on your cookie of the month.
The potential is absolutely sky high, and you’re really only limited by your imagination.
Email marketing rocks, and please never forget how easy ClickFunnels makes it to stay in contact with your customers!
How To Go Forward With The Best Strategy?
My honest advice, is that ClickFunnels can make the job of e-commerce vendors much easier.
You can easily list your products using beautiful done for you templates.
You can use ClickFunnels to build your email list.
You can showcase all of your beautiful images, graphics, tutorials, testimonials, and videos using the ClickFunnels editor.
You’re really only limited by your imagination.
The best step going forward, is to ask yourself, what are your most popular products that you want to promote the hardest?
These are the products that you should consider building a funnel around, so you can use that funnel to build your audience, build your email list, and hopefully increase your sales.
If you have a massive store, with thousands of products, then always remember that you can promote those products in the back end of your funnel. So maybe you could have a quarterly catalog that you send to your end users; or maybe you could promote your traditional web store on your confirmation page, or even via email followups.
The world is yours, and try to let your creativity go wild! ClickFunnels makes it easy to do so.
