So as of late I’ve been experimenting late at night with ClickFunnels, and have decided that it can be a really cool software that can help to build your email list.
You can use it to design lead capture pages, email funnels, webinar marketing pages, survey funnels, and all types of cool marketing pages.
But, the problem that a ton of email marketers have, is how the heck can they promote their lead capture page once it’s done?
Well, there are a ton of ways.
You can rely on SEO, or maybe even pay for some advertising.
The only problem is that, what happens if your marketing budget isn’t the biggest in the world?
Or what if you’re having a difficult time getting any ranking on the big search engines? What if competition is too fierce, and their content is too frequent?
That’s Why Blog Tribes Totally Rock. But Maybe You Have No Clue What A Blog Tribe Really Is?
I’ve been ranting and raving lately about how awesome blogging can be for absolutely any business; but what happens if nobody ever reads your stuff?
Have you ever been frustrated because you bend over backwards creating beautiful content, but then your website suffers from an epic lack of website traffic?
Does your website have more cobwebs than a haunted attic?
If that’s the case, then you’re going to love this; because I’ve been brainstorming like a mad blogger for the last few years to figure out how to get bloggers, especially heavy hitting bloggers to share your content.
These days, every time I post a new blog entry on MrComputerScience.com, it gets shared a bunch of times on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and I also get email subscribers as a result.
The First Step Is To Always Create Content That Rocks.
If you miss out on this step, then nothing is ever going to work.
So, make sure that your content is awesome.
And I don’t mean that your content has to be grammatically correct, as you’re probably aware my content is liberally strewn with grammatical errors, and I’ve only received a handful of complaints over the years haha. (Yes, I’ve had some cranky professors over the years, lol).
There’s actually this one funny story about how one of my professors basically ridiculed the numerous spelling errors in one of my assignments, however that’s a story for another time.
The point is that, grammatical structure has absolutely nothing to do with getting people to read and share your content. Well, as long as your grammar and spelling aren’t TOO bad, I don’t think anybody will care that much, lol.
Just make sure that it’s helpful, impactful, and hopefully it really helps solve a problem.
The Second Step, Is To Join Or Create Your Own Blog Tribes.
If you blog, you should definitely start your own blog tribe using Triberr.com.
Triberr.com is a freemium blog tribe community which is by far my favorite blog promotion tool.
This is the single most important promotional mechanism for all bloggers, especially new and upcoming bloggers.
Because everyone in the tribe is going to at least be aware that you posted new content, and all of the members within your own tribe can also “share” your content on their social media profiles with the click of a button.
So if you spend some time creating a blog tribe, and inviting a ton of awesome bloggers into your tribe, then you can easily have a blog tribe with a massive reach before too long.
Before too long, you’ll have an awesome blog tribe that’s stuffed to the brim with a ton of awesome members, and you’ll all be creating cool content and sharing one another’s content on social media.
Another Very Good Step To Take, Is To Create A Pinterest Group Board.
I’m a firm believer in the power of Pinterest, and Pinterest is probably my favorite search engine, because Pinterest is actually a search engine and it’s not necessarily a social media platform.
People use Pinterest to search for cool ideas.
So if you create a blog post, it’s a very sound policy to create a beautiful graphic that accompanies that blog post, and then you can easily share that image right inside of your Pinterest group.
Now, I place special emphasis on a Pinterest group for a couple of reasons.
First of all, if you create a Pinterest group board, you’re going to look more like an authority in your niche.
Just about every single day, I have entrepreneurs asking me to join my Pinterest group board.
At this point in time, I believe my Pinterest group board has well over 30,000 posts. So there’s a ton of content inside my group board, and I hardly even created any of it.
The even better part is that every time you create a new blog post, you can simply promote your blog post within your group board, and share it with the world.
This is a really awesome way to get eyeballs on your content, and you might build strong relationships at the same time which is a really nifty bonus.
The Crucial Step Is Of Course Optimizing Your Blog Content By Promoting Your Lead Capture Pages!
There are so many ways that you can promote your ClickFunnels lead capture page on your blog.
Maybe you can have a small call to action at the end of your content, inviting your end users to subscribe?
Or maybe you can have a cool custom made banner in your sidebar that promotes one of your lead magnets, or even one of your upcoming webinars?
Maybe you could even have a “free gifts” section in your navigational menu, that points to one of your lead capture pages?
The point is that, if you’re going to work hard creating awesome content for your blog tribes, then it’s so important to actually promote your lead capture page on your blog!
This way, your blog will be better optimized to turn your readers, into subscribers, right?
