There’s nothing more frustrating than having an excellent webinar, but no webinar attendees.
If you know what it’s like to spend hours, days, or even weeks trying to promote your webinar, then this guide is for you.
You’re about to discover seven powerful and ingenious ways to promote your ClickFunnels webinar funnel.
Seven ways to advertise your ClickFunnels webinar funnel:
# 1 – Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is easily one of the smartest ways to promote your webinar.
The idea is to incentivize other people to promote your webinars. You incentivize affiliates by offering them a commission on any sales that they drive.
You might offer 50% of all commissions that an affiliate sends. If they generate $1,000 in business, you give them $500 (fifty percent).
If you pay attention to many of the top affiliates, you’ll notice that many of them live webinars.
Here’s why affiliate webinars are ridiculously powerful:
- Get other people to promote your webinar for you
- Great way to generate email leads
- Send massive good karma to the world via valuable content
- Teach others and share your stories with the world
The best thing about affiliate marketing is that there are so many different affiliate marketplaces you can advertise these days.
JVZoo, MunchEye, JV Notify Pro, WarriorPlus, and ClickBank all come to mind.
Those websites list new product launches every single day. You can submit your start on those websites to help spread the word about your affiliate webinar.
# 2 – Quora
Quora is one of the best sites on the planet if you’re an expert who loves to help people.
The way Quora works is simple.
People go there to ask questions.
You, as an answer, can selflessly dedicate your time to answer questions that other people ask.
There are questions in all topics and niches, everything from weight loss to astrophysics.
Quora is an excellent way to generate authority in your niche, especially if you’re knowledgeable and have plenty of spare time.
The cool thing about Quora is that you can customize your profile to promote your landing page.
You can easily plug your ClickFunnels webinar funnel in your Quora profile.
That way, when you go out of your way to help people on Quora, they will hopefully, click on your profile to learn more about you.
At the very least, you’ll be spreading massive good karma in your marketplace by helping other people.
Good karma is never a bad thing, and in my opinion, it can help your business tremendously.
# 3 – YouTube Marketing
YouTube marketing is a smart way to promote your ClickFunnels webinar funnel.
YouTube also rocks for your brand in general.
Do you love to create content? Do you like getting your face and name out there? Then it’s tough to beat YouTube.
Here’s a small list of types of videos you can create:
- Create a tutorial that introduces your webinar
- Answer commonly asked questions from webinar attendees
- Answer any questions that your prospects frequently ask
- Teach any lesson that resonates with your audience
Then, at the end of every video, you can gently promote your webinar registration page. What type of call to action could you have? Maybe something like this: “If you appreciate this video, then please check out my free web class that teaches all about ABC. You can register for free by visiting MrComputerScience.com!”
When it comes to the tech stuff behind creating simple YouTube videos, it’s easier than you think. I launch all of my online video courses with an old laptop (ancient) plus a cheap USB microphone that I got on Amazon for like $50.
Even if you’re super shy (like me) and prefer to hide behind your monitor? Then you can use trusty Microsoft Office 365 to make some sweet PowerPoint presentations. You don’t necessarily have to appear on camera if you don’t like the idea. All of my online courses use Microsoft PowerPoint to create beautiful slides. No tech skills required, and no camera required!
I use PixaBay.com for all of my graphics and image needs to help the design cool-looking PowerPoint slides for the presentations. PixaBay allows you to use over a million graphics for free. They’re perfect for checking out if you want to create beautiful PowerPoint slides with amazing graphics.
You can use apps like Camtasia or Screencast-O-Matic to record your PowerPoint presentation. Both options are relatively cheap and straightforward to use.
# 4 – Blogging
As someone who writes blog posts all the time, I’m a huge advocate of all things blogging!
I think that just about any type of business can benefit from a blog. Whether you’re an online marketer, a coach, a local firm, a lawyer, or dentist, blogging rocks.
For the last couple of weeks, I have spent a significant amount of time writing on this blog. I’m writing a blog post after blog post because I love to write. Furthermore, I honestly believe that blogging is a genius way to help promote your ClickFunnels webinar funnel. You can also use your blog to promote just about anything that you like.
Benefits of blogging:
- WordPress is elementary to use. Anyone can blog!
- Blogging is a great way to help your SEO optimization.
- Blogging is surprisingly cheap. My web host only costs about $50 – $100 per year!
- Blogging is very versatile! You can blog about anything that you want.
- There are tens of thousands of WordPress plugins to give your site cool features.
- You can quickly end your blog post with a call to action that promotes your webinar funnel!
As you can see, I’m a considerable blogging fanatic.
But beware!
Blogging does require a ton of effort. If you don’t love to write, and if you don’t like to help people? Then blogging isn’t your best bet.
The truth is that, while blogging has an endless list of benefits, blogging also requires a ton of effort.
Blogging might be for you if:
- If you love to write
- If you like to research
- If you want to help people
- If you’re knowledgeable in your niche
- If you realize that blogging is a long-term game
- If you would write even if nobody reads your content
I’m not trying to scare you away from blogging, by the way.
I’m just trying to be 100% honest. Blogging rocks, and I believe that blogging can help you to promote your webinars. However, writing is a lot of work!
# 5 – Banner Ads
If you despise the idea of search engine optimization, writing, and blogging, then paid advertising might be a better venture.
One of the most popular banner ad networks that I can think of is called BuySellAds. Their system boasts a ton of websites that are happy to promote your banner.
Banner advertising is a different beast than most advertising methods.
When you buy a banner slot, you buy impressions, not clicks. So, your banner ad might perform exceptionally well or exceptionally poor. You might get more clicks than expected or much fewer clicks than you expected. Banner ads are slightly a gamble in this way. All paid advertising is a gamble, arguably.
The trick with Banner Ads is finding a website that matches your niche. In other words, what type of webinar do you teach?
What does your webinar teach?
- Do you teach how to generate leads?
- Do you teach how to get website traffic?
- Do you teach how to lose weight?
- Do you teach how to find a fantastic date?
Keep this information in mind as you browse different banner marketplaces. You only want your advertisement to show up on websites that match your ideal audience.
As far as banner designs are concerned, you have a few options. The first option is to design your banner using Canva. Canva makes it easy to create graphics without any tech skills. Canva is free to try, so they’re a great option.
Another option you have is to hire a professional designer on Fiverr.com. Fiverr.com isn’t your only option. However, they are one of my favorite sources simply because they’re comfortable and easy to afford.
# 6 – Pay Per Click Advertising
If you want to promote your ClickFunnels webinar funnel without any delay, then Pay Per Click is one of your best options.
Pay Per Click is, without a doubt, one of the fastest ways to bring a surge of new visitors to your webinar registration page without a doubt.
These days, most ad networks you’ll deal with have plenty of data to bring you the visitors that you crave.
Here’s just a small handful of companies that offer pay per click ads:
As you can see, there’s an abundant wealth of fantastic pay per click companies that have plenty of traffic to send.
If you want to promote your webinar registration page, then you’re in luck.
One final pay per click tip is to test small! You never know how your ads are going to perform. So, try to split different test creatives.
If you can save a few cents per click, then remember that every penny is essential! Doubly so if your budget isn’t the biggest in the world.
# 7 – Don’t Forget Social Media!
When it comes to webinar promotion, every avenue is a worthy choice. Never forget the low hanging fruit! Social media profiles come to mind.
If you have any existing social media accounts operating right now, then here’s an easy step to promote your webinar.
Include a call to action in your profile that gently promotes your webinar registration page.
Try your best not to over-sell your content! Don’t act pushy or like a sleazy marketer.
Instead, try to make your prospective audience feel welcome. Part of this strategy is to offer fantastic content on social media in the first place.
How to act like a social media boss:
- Try your best to share excellent content that helps people.
- Answer questions that your customers ask very quickly.
- Reply to and thank customers who leave reviews.
- Share any new blog posts, content, or news updates.
- Be kind to people and be a positive influence!
Hopefully, if you’re generally helpful and knowledgeable, your prospects will take not.
They’ll follow up, send you friend requests, and hopefully, they’ll try to learn more about you.
Everything starts with your end-user in mind. How can you help your prospect? What type of content would best serve your ideal audience?
