One of the most frustrating things in the world is when you launch a product, yet nobody knows about your launch.
That’s why I’m a massive fan of ClickFunnels. ClickFunnels makes it incredibly easy to brainstorm, launch, and deploy beautiful marketing creatives for your product launch. Product launch funnels are especially compelling, especially if you’re starting a new product or service.
Promoting your launch is direly critical! Consider that around 95 percent of new products fail. That’s a frightening and sad statistic for those of us who launch products. For that reason, it’s vitally important that you try your best to tell the world about your product launch. If you skip this step? Then it’s all too easy to fall into that dreaded 95 percent of failed product launches.
But how are you supposed to promote your product launch funnel once it’s up and running? That’s what this guide is all about.
Here are seven powerful ways to promote your ClickFunnels product launch funnel:
# 1 – Launch an Affiliate Program
If you launch an affiliate program, then you offer a fantastic opportunity for fans of your current work to get paid by promoting your product launch. You can also invite those who are perhaps new to your brand to earn some commissions.
With ClickFunnels, it’s straightforward to launch an affiliate program. That way, your affiliates get individual links that they can use to promote. If your members generate sales using their unique relationship, then you pay them a commission. Straightforward enough, right?
You could offer 25%, 35%, or maybe even 50% or more commissions to help excite your affiliates to work hard.
Here are some cool affiliate program tips:
- Consider offering different creatives that your affiliates can use to promote.
- Let your existing customers, students, and colleagues know that you have an affiliate program.
- There is plenty of affiliate marketing Facebook groups. Try to plug your affiliate program in those groups.
- Promote your affiliate program wherever you can!
# 2 – Promote With Reddit Ads
There’s one huge reason why I’m a huge fan of Reddit Ads. That reason is that I used to love forum marketing!
Back in the old days of internet marketing (lol), there were dozens, if not hundreds of small niche forums all over the internet.
These days? Well, big sites like Reddit kind of “replaced” the smaller marketing forums of the world.
Rant aside, Reddit is a great website to advertise your product launch. Reddit is massive, generates a ton of website traffic, and they have a handy advertising platform.
So, if you’re looking to advertise somewhere other than Facebook, then Reddit Ads is a smart and noteworthy choice.
# 3 – Promote With Quora For Business
Quora is another tremendously popular website with tons of website traffic. They have so much traffic in fact that they’d be happy to sell you some!
If you’re unfamiliar, Quora is one of the world’s most massive Q and A websites. The reason why Quora rocks for advertising is that people come to Quora to seek answers.
With Quora For Business, you can show your ad to your ideal prospect when they are searching for help. What a fantastic opportunity to promote your solution (your product) to those in need, right?
Here’s a shortlist of reasons why visitors might visit Quora:
- They want to learn how to blog
- They want to learn how to advertise their website
- They want to lose weight
- They want medical advice
- They want advice on relationships
- They want to ask how to help train their Golden Retriever
- Quora users ask questions about everything!
Quora gets plenty of website traffic, and you can quickly visit their website and type in keywords related to your niche. You’ll get a better indicator of whether Quora has lots of your ideal prospects, or not. However, I’d be willing to bet that regardless of what niche your product is in, Quora can help find your excellent folks.
Quora rocks and they’re worth investigating.
# 4 – Promote Your Product Launch In Facebook Groups
Did you know that there are tons of product launch Facebook groups?
These groups love to discuss all things product launching, and especially affiliate marketing.
The genius of these groups is that you can quickly introduce your affiliate program in here without seeming like a pest. That’s because these groups are all about new affiliate products, affiliate programs, and joint venture programs. Of course, it’s a good idea to look at the different posts people are making. Are there lots of people promoting their affiliate products? Make sure that you have permission to post and read the group rules before proceeding.
Spend a few minutes searching for the top product launch and affiliate program Facebook groups. Join as many as you can! Introduce yourself and let the group know about your fantastic product launch.
For extra points, try your best to help others in the groups. If anyone asks questions? Then try to answer them. Try your best to be a person of value! So that other folks within the group look to you as a leader, not just someone trying to advertise their service.
# 5 – Promote Your Product Launch In Affiliate Marketplaces
If you’re launching a product, then one of the easiest ways to get the word out is to start in an affiliate marketplace.
The three most popular affiliate marketplaces that come to mind are JVZoo, WarriorPlus, and ClickBank. These marketplaces allow you to sell your product on their platforms. You can list your products on JVZoo and WarriorPlus without any upfront cost. Registering your product on ClickBank, however, can cost you a couple of bucks. (The last time I checked, the price is around $50 – $100).
The way these marketplaces work is simple. You, as a product vendor, can list your product for sale in their market. The marketplaces have affiliates who promote the products, which is a bonus. If you register your product launch in these affiliate marketplaces, then you might have affiliates showcase interest in advertising.
There are other affiliate marketplaces, such as MunchEye and JV Notify Pro, that are great to help spread the word about your product launch. Check those out too for an added boost!
One final tip if you want to attract affiliates? Make it easy for them to promote your product launch! Offer to help with any questions, and even consider creating marketing creatives for your partners to use.
Here are some great marketing creatives to offer affiliates:
- Banner ads
- Social media graphics
- Email marketing swipes
- Blog post content ideas
# 6 – Try To Get Interviewed On Podcasts
If your product is incredible, then you have a story to tell!
That’s why it might be a genius idea to get the word out on different Podcasts.
Try to contact as many popular Podcasts that you can, and check to see if the host might wish to interview you.
If you have a compelling story or fantastic tips to share, then maybe a Podcast host would benefit big time by having you on and interviewing you?
Try to search on Apple Podcasts and Stitcher for popular Podcasts in your niche.
Then, start to email the hosts to let them know about your story or lessons that you would love to share with their audience.
Not all the Podcast hosts will get back to you. As you know, many influencers are busy. They might not have an available slot for days, weeks, or even months. Also, they might not even want to interview you in the first place! Tough, but true.
If you have a good enough pitch, and if your content sounds relevant to the Podcast host, then you might hear back for an interview from some. That’s why it’s a good idea to contact many Podcasts, so hopefully, at least a few of them agree to have you on their show.
Also, always let the Podcast host know if you can promote your launch during the interview!
The last thing you want to do is promote something without the Podcaster’s permission.
Of course, as you probably know, many Podcast hosts are relaxed! Most Podcasts that I listen to allow the guests to be gracious promote their offers and websites at the end of the show. But, it’s always better to ask for permission first!
# 7 – Give Away Tons Of Review Copies To Influencers
If you want spread the word about your product launch, then this method might be the perfect “Hail Mary Pass.”
The idea is to get your product in the hands of as many influencers as possible. Tell them that you want to give them a free copy of your product in exchange for a review.
This method takes a ton of footwork, and there’s a high chance that the influencer will ignore you. But what if they don’t? What if they review your product, and they think that it rocks?
What type of influencers am I referencing?
- Podcasters
- YouTubers
- Bloggers
- Email Marketers
- Instagram Bosses
- Online Teachers
- Authors
- Social Media Mavens
- Anyone with an audience!
Try your best to offer free products to experts in your niche. Tell them about your upcoming product, why it’s incredible, and why you’d love for them to review the product.
Let them know that you’re a massive fan of their work and value their feedback.
Most influencers are tremendously busy. There’s a good chance that the vast, overwhelming percentage of people will NOT reply to your request for a review.
However, this is a free method to experiment with and consider. And, if the right influencer reviews your product, and if the influencer likes your product, then there’s a ton of potential there.
Maybe, if an influencer agrees that your product rocks, you could remind them that you have an affiliate program? Food for thought!
Promoting Your Product Launch With ClickFunnels Conclusion
You probably realize by now that promoting a product launch is a ton of work.
Nothing is ever as easy as the gurus say!
No matter how you promote your product launch, try your best to help your prospects. Try to offer massive value to them so that you can improve their lives. Offer fantastic support, so your customers know that you actually care about them.
That way, even if your product launch isn’t the biggest in the world, you’ll have something that even the prominent experts don’t necessarily have.
You’ll have a small yet dedicated tribe of customers who love your products, your brands, and your fantastic customer support.
