In this document I’m going to reveal how you can promote your brand-new lead capture page.
Because I’ve known so many awesome marketers and hopeful entrepreneurs who build a brand-new funnel (I always recommend ClickFunnels to my colleagues, friends, and students because it rocks), but as soon as they build it, they’re not sure how to go about promoting it.
Because maybe you’re not the biggest entrepreneur in the world, and you’re super annoyed that nobody is subscribing to your email newsletter, nobody is attending your webinars, and nobody is even reading any of your content?
That’s Why These Following Lead Generations Rock
The three lead generation methods described in this document are super clever and also low cost.
Because everyone knows that you can generate leads with Pay Per Click Advertising, and with email marketing style Solo Ads.
You can literally go out and buy 100 visitors, 500 visitors, or 1,000 visitors whenever you want, right?
But what happens if your marketing budget isn’t the biggest in the world? How can you go about generating leads, and promoting your email list if you can’t or don’t want to buy paid advertising?
That’s why, today, I want to talk about three unique lead generation methods that are awesomely clever.
Because, these methods are super low-cost, or, arguably, free.
The First Lead Generation Is Online Teaching.
Online teaching is an industry that’s probably going to get bigger and bigger, so there’s never been a better time to be an online teacher.
Being a teacher has other, “not so obvious” benefits also.
Because the majority of course platforms out there, allow you to have a Teacher Profile that can easily promote your blog, or even your lead capture page.
As students take your courses, and if they like your content, some of those students may end up checking out your profile on the platform, and then visiting your website.
If your website is optimized to generate leads, then this is a cool and smart method to turn your students into email subscribers.
Some course platforms also allow you to promote your lead capture page at the end of your course, which is an incredible feature.
Another reason why this is super powerful, is because students are some of the best subscribers to have.
Your students know you and probably like you, and hopefully after taking your course, they think that your content is super cool.
Another Really Awesome Lead Generation Method, Is Kindle Publishing
One cool bonus to publishing on Kindle, is that you can promote your blog and your lead capture page inside each book.
At the beginning of each book, you can cordially invite your readers to join your email newsletter.
I personally write something like “Since you’re my reader, and you’re super cool, I invite you to join my email newsletter. You’ll also get a bunch of cool bonuses when you subscribe, so check it out”.
This way, every single time someone reads one of your books, they are cordially invited to join your email newsletter.
This is a genius tactic, because building an email list is one of the most powerful things that you can do as an Author.
As an added bonus, your readers make absolutely amazing subscribers because they’ve already shown to appreciate and gravitate toward your writing style.
Blogging Is Another Super Powerful Method To Generate Leads, As Long As You Stick With It
Blogging is one of the coolest ways to promote your email newsletter, because it’s a great platform to create content that can help your end users.
You can also promote your email newsletter on your blog in so many different ways.
One of the best ways I’ve discovered to do that, is by offering a small call to action at the end of every post, that promotes one of my lead magnets.
In every single blog post that I write, I promote a lead magnet that is specifically designed to enhance the original content. This can be accomplished with a nice-looking banner, or by simply adding a “PS: Want to learn more about XYZ topic?” style call to action.
I also promote lead capture pages in the navigational menu, in the footer, and even on the top of my blog with a welcome bar.
The Ridiculous Power Of Blog Tribes…
If you’re going to blog, you should absolutely manage a blog tribe of your own, and try to join as many blog tribes as possible.
Because when your blog is connected to different blog tribes, then your fellow tribe-mates will see your content in their tribe-feed. It’s then super easy for your tribe-mates to read and share your content with their social media followers.
Every time I publish a new blog post, a handful of awesome blog tribe-mates help to share the content on their social media profiles.
I also share their content too. If you ever check me out on Twitter (@MrComputerSci), you’ll see that I’m always sharing awesome blogging content from my fellow tribe-mates. This is also an excellent and easy way to populate your social media feeds with interesting content automatically.
Lead Generation Via Content Marketing Versus Paid Advertising
Pay per click advertising and content marketing both rock.
Pay per click advertising is more reliable, and it’s also more scalable than content marketing.
In my opinion though, leads generated via content marketing are the best, because these leads are arguably lower-cost, and they’ve been exposed to your content organically.
In other words, if you generate leads via publishing courses, books, and blog posts, then those leads are already familiar with and probably like you and your content.
If a student takes one of your courses, or if a reader consumes one of your books, I believe, that these are some of the best subscribers to have. If they like your content, they’re statistically more likely to join your newsletter, and enjoy your updates, right?
This equates to a super powerful subscriber who is probably excited to hear more from you.
In summary, paid advertising is much easier to control, test, measure, and scale. Paid advertising is therefore, more reliable. I don’t think this fact can be contested.
However, as you know, paid advertising can be difficult to master, and super tough on the wallet!
No Matter How You Generate Leads, Always Strive To Have A Beautiful Marketing Funnel
A marketing funnel allows you to make the most impact, from every website visitor, and from every lead that you ever generate, regardless of how you generate that lead.
Because you can craft the perfect content, the perfect presentation, and the perfect sales pitch, and then welcome all of your leads with that same exact sequence.
A funnel can also allow you to collect data and analyze what’s working and what isn’t.
I therefore contend, that it’s almost always a great idea to have an awesome marketing funnel if you’re generating leads of any kind.
That’s Why I’m Such A Huge Fan Of ClickFunnels
After reviewing so many different sales page and sales funnel builders over the years, ClickFunnels is my new favorite because it’s so simple to use.
