Have you ever been scared to send an email to your list?
Maybe you’re not sure what to write, what to say?
If that’s the case hey I get it.
It can be scary broadcasting your message to thousands of people at once.
One trick I play on myself to make it easier, is to pretend that I’m emailing only one person at a time.
So, you’ve probably noticed that my emails sound like I’m talking to you directly. One on one.
That’s exactly how you can write emails that bond like crazy. And fascinatingly, they’re also the easiest emails to write.
It takes me back to this speech class I had once. A nerdy, heavily bearded dude like me actually got a 4.0 in the class.
How did I do it? How did a nervous wreck like me actually pull off memorizing a speech and reciting it to a room stuffed with political science hawks?
Well, I Just Pretended Like I Was Talking To One Person.
It takes the load off, and makes your ideas flow like a raging river. Even if you’re dead shy.
So, the next time you write an email, keep that in mind.
You’re not broadcasting to thousands, you’re just broadcasting to one. Your subscribers will love you for it.
Because heck. They’ll think you’re emailing them one on one. Karma points (and rapport points) for you.
So Ask Yourself How Would That Feel?
How would it feel if the next time you wrote an email, your audience connected like crazy, and even thanked you?
Imagine being thanked for selling your stuff? While building a bond that can last a lifetime? Sound good?
Food for thought, and we’ll talk later.
