- # 5 – Real Estate Lead Magnet Funnel
Here Is Why Sales Funnels For Real Estate Agents Might Be A Genius Marketing Idea In Nearly Any Market
I have been a tech nerd and a blogging nerd for quite some time. For that reason, I am emphatic about building beautiful websites, lead capture pages, sales funnels, and lead magnet funnels!
I also realize that the world is changing rapidly. It seems like the entire world economy is rapidly developing and evolving! I have noticed that more and more, services are moving online. For that reason, I think that just about any small business could probably benefit from digitizing their sales process! Real estate agents included!
If you are a real estate agent who is new to the world of sales funnels, then I am delighted to brainstorm 5 cool sales funnel ideas that you might consider as a real estate agent. Sound good? Then here are my honest two cents!
# 1 – Free Consultation Funnel
I honestly contend that as a real estate agent, you underestimate your knowledge. In other words, you have no clue about how much you know! I bet you that your real estate prospects do not know nearly as much as you do about buying and selling homes.
Imagine the anxiety that many of your potential real estate agent clients experience. Many of your prospective real estate clients are probably scared stiff! They are afraid of getting ripped off or making the wrong moves that can potentially cost them thousands during a real estate deal.
As a real estate agent – you can probably relate. That is why a free consultation funnel is one of the potentially smartest sales funnel ideas for real estate agents. A free real estate consultation, in my opinion, is of tremendous value to your prospect and also serves as a genius lead magnet.
In other words – not only can a free consultation funnel help you to generate real estate leads, but you will also be doing your prospective home buying prospect (or home selling prospect) a ton of good and you will hopefully earn good karma as a result!
The way a free consultation funnel might work for a real estate agent is straightforward enough. You could design an elementary web form that offers a 100% free real estate home buying or home selling consultation with absolutely no obligation.
Your real estate prospect can choose a time for you to follow up and arrange a call when you are available for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Advertise that your prospect can ask any real estate questions they want with no commitment! The idea is to make the entire process a friction-less endeavor where you help to minimize any homebuying (or selling) stress.
During the consultation that your real estate prospect claims, you devote yourself to helping them and answering their questions. During your call, you can also determine if you can help them with their real estate transactions.
If you conclude that your real estate prospect is a good match for your real estate services, then you can formally offer your real estate assistance to them during your consultation.
By the way, if you are in a panic because you are not sure how to build or launch a sales funnel as a real estate agent, then I invite you to read my thorough ClickFunnels review to learn more.
# 2 – Survey Funnel
In my opinion – data used wisely is gold in the hands of a real estate agent! That is why survey funnels demand a prominent spot on this list of sales funnel ideas for real estate agents!
In other words – I think that a survey funnel is a genius-level sales funnel idea for real estate agents of all levels. There are a few reasons that you might cherish and adore survey funnels as a real estate agent.
The primary reason to consider a survey funnel as a real estate agent is that they are an excellent method to learn about your real estate prospect. You can figure out if they are buying or selling. You can learn more about their expectations, their budget, their location, and their level of experience.
You can even learn their top fears about the home buying or home selling process. That is the innate genius of a properly planned survey funnel. You can craft your survey questions so you can extract the information you want.
That way, when you generate a fresh real estate lead, you have abundant information to help determine how you can adequately accommodate your real estate client through the home buying or home selling process.
Another thing that you might appreciate about a survey funnel is that they are not very intimidating for your real estate prospect! A lot of sale funnel styles ask for some type of sale upfront. A survey funnel on the other hand is rather innocuous and I think they can be a clever way for you to break the ice with your real estate prospect.
# 3 – Video Sales Letter Funnel
I have been teaching online courses for a while now. The reason I mention this is because most of my courses utilize some form of video sales letter style to advertise my courses!
I am therefore irrationally in love with video sales letter funnels, and I contend they are easily one of the most underrated sales funnel types to consider.
As a real estate agent, you can probably put together a dazzling 5 or 10-minute presentation that speaks directly to your ideal real estate client. Maybe you can briefly introduce yourself and tell your story as a real estate agent.
Maybe you can write a video sales letter script that directly calls out your dream real estate agent client and makes an offer. Whether you want to help people buy their home or sell their home, customize your video so that you convey your passion and willingness to help!
The true beauty of a video sales letter funnel is that they can help accomplish whatever goals you have in mind. Whether you want to speak directly to the common frustrations that first time home buyers experience, or if you want to showcase your top 10 real estate testimonials – a video sales letter can help.
Underneath your video sales letter, you can promote a massive call to action and invite your real estate prospects to contact you. Or, you could promote your sales letter, your phone number, your scheduling app, or any sales process that you use to sell your real estate services.
PS: One frustration you may encounter when launching a video sales letter funnel, is that you are not sure how to create cool-looking slides! If you can relate, then I invite you to read one of my favorite articles that showcases 5 free or cheap apps to help you build beautiful slide presentations without tech hurdles. I hope this content helps you!
# 4 – Automated Webinar Funnel
One of the biggest advantages of an automated webinar funnel is that they rock for generating email leads. So if you want to build your email list as a real estate agent so you can automatically followup with your real estate leads, then an automated webinar funnel might be an excellent choice to consider.
An automated webinar funnel has a few similarities with video sales letters. In theory, a video sales letter funnel and an automated webinar funnel could contain the same video presentation!
However, one major difference is how the content is presented to your real estate prospect. With an automated webinar funnel, your real estate agent must register with their email address before they are permitted to view your presentation.
There are also countless variations of automated webinar funnels. The main idea is to entice your real estate agent client to register for a training event with their email address. After your real estate agent subscribes, they are then redirected to the presentation either immediately, or at a later time.
If you are thinking, “But Mike! What kind of webinar could I teach to my real estate prospects? I am totally out of ideas!”, then I am happy to brainstorm some cool concepts with you.

# 5 – Real Estate Lead Magnet Funnel
If the idea of creating an automated webinar funnel or a video sales letter funnel seems like way too much work – or if you do not fancy the idea of creating a video, then you still have options!
As a real estate agent, remember that your knowledge is valuable. You could create a PDF report, a cheat sheet, a free book, an email course, or a free audio lecture that showcase some of your most valuable insights that can serve your ideal real estate prospect.
The idea here is to generate an email lead so that you can follow up with them about your real estate services. Therefore, it is a wise idea to create a lead magnet that would be desirable in the eyes of your ideal real estate prospect!
If you are stuck on ideas as to your real estate agent lead magnet, then here is the perfect exercise. Spend 10 minutes thinking about the top frustrations that your ideal real estate client experiences.
As a real estate agent, I hypothesize that if you spent only 5 or 10 minutes brainstorming and focusing, you could develop a list of at least 10 frustrations that your ideal real estate client likely experiences.
You could probably also create a list of the top 10 questions, and the top 10 mistakes that your real estate client may encounter when buying or selling a home. Consider using these insights to create a beautiful book, an email course, a PDF, or an audio lecture. I think that any of these could make for the perfect lead magnet for your real estate business. Food for thought!
You can then follow up with your real estate agent clients via email and let them know about how you can help them with their home buying and home selling needs. Try your utmost to provide enormous value! Share your real estate insights, develop good karma, and let your prospective real estate clients know that you are there to help them!

Sales Funnel Ideas For Real Estate Agents FAQs
I have been writing on this humble MrComputerScience.com marketing blog for many years now! For that reason, I have put forth a surplus of time thinking about sales funnel ideas for real estate agents, copywriting, lead generation, copywriting, et cetera. I am delighted to bestow my humble two cents regarding popular FAQs that you may encounter.
# 1 – Is Email Marketing A Waste Of Time For Real Estate Agents?
In my humble opinion, no! I think that these days, email marketing is more potent than ever. As I observe the world economy and how businesses interact with consumers, I cannot help but notice that online marketing and email marketing are enormous.
Some of the most prominent brands I think of still use email marketing regularly. Can you relate? How many emails per day do you get from your favorite businesses, storefronts, gurus, video game companies, streaming services, eCommerce sellers, restaurants, software companies, social networks, and friends?
I do not know about you – but I get a nonstop stream of email! For that reason, I propose that email marketing is still alive and well. Even for real estate agents!
Another variable to consider is that email marketing is now ludicrously affordable. You do not have to spend a bundle to experiment with email marketing, so in my opinion, it is worthy of consideration. That is my humble two cents!
# 2 – How Can Real Estate Agents Analyze The Questions That First Time Home Buyers And Home Sellers Experience?
This is a great question! I think that survey funnels and free consultation funnels can help you gather data about your ideal real estate prospect.
However, if you do not wish to launch a real estate funnel just yet, then there are a few other methods to learn about questions that home buyers and sellers experience. I think that your experience as a real estate agent is invaluable in this case!
Let me give you an example. As an online teacher, I have spent countless amounts of time answering questions. One thing I have noticed is that students ask the same questions over and over again. I swear, it seems like I can learn a ton about my students (and future students) just by listening to (and answering) their questions.
So, I would recommend that you consider your personal experience as a real estate agent. What questions have your real estate clients asked you over the years? What frustrations do they endure?
What about family members, friends, and peers? What questions have they asked you about buying and selling a home?
Also, check out popular forums and Q&A websites like Reddit and Quora. Quora especially is a wealth of information. You can use Quora to research real questions that people are asking on any topic.
Finally, I would recommend a brilliant service called Answer The Public. Answer The Public is the best tool that I know of to research real questions that people type into search engines. Answer The Public is free to try, and I recommend them for marketers and entrepreneurs of all styles!
# 3 – What Types Of Emails Should Real Estate Agents Write To Their Real Estate Leads? I Suck At Writing! Any Tips?
One of the biggest problems that email marketers face is that they sometimes run out of content to write about and discuss.
As a real estate agent, remember that your knowledge is priceless. Personally, the idea of buying or selling a home is frightening to me! I have no clue how to go about buying or selling without getting ripped off or falling into a trap.
I am not even sure what real estate traps exist. However, I am confident that they do exist! As a real estate agent, I bet you could help people like me. Big time!
I would be willing to bet, that many of your real estate prospects are clueless like I am. For that reason, one of the biggest email copywriting tips I can share for all real estate agents is to remember that your prospects are probably anxious about buying or selling a home!
Try your utmost to share compelling home buying and home selling tips. Pretend that you are emailing a good friend whenever you compose a marketing message. Never try to be spammy, pushy, aggressive, or misleading.
Treat your real estate agent clients like gold. Act as their trusted real estate guardian! You are there to ensure that they do not get taken advantage of by any home buying or home selling scams. You are their protector!
Share your best home buying and home selling tips. Offer your services and let them know about how you can help them in their real estate journeys. If you offer any other services, then let them know about how you can help them!
Above all, try to help your leads. If you carry that mentality, I believe that your email copywriting will be on point whenever you dispatch a new marketing email.
# 4 – What Is The Best Page Builder Or Sales Funnel Tool For Real Estate Agents?
ClickFunnels is my favorite page building software for real estate agents and other entrepreneurs. There are a few reasons that I recommend ClickFunnels to my blog readers.
ClickFunnels makes planning, building, and launching beautiful sales funnels a straightforward and (daresay) fun process. If you have a plan for a beautiful lead magnet funnel, a survey funnel, a free consultation funnel, or any funnel, then ClickFunnels rules.
Even if you know nothing about sales funnels, marketing, or graphic design, ClickFunnels can still help your real estate business! That is because the ClickFunnels templates look great and you will not break a sweat editing the appearance to help match your business, brand, story, and style.
ClickFunnels also has a brilliant affiliate program that you might want to learn more about. I wrote a detailed ClickFunnels affiliate program review that I invite you to read if you wish to learn more.
# 5 – Do You Think That Local SEO Marketing And Blogging Can Work For Real Estate Agents?
I think that local SEO is a stroke of genius for real estate agents! You should make sure that your real estate business is properly listed in Google Maps and Yelp at the very least so you can hopefully show up when people search for your real estate practice.
Regarding the world of blogging, I must confess that I am obsessed with blogging, and writing! For that reason, I am always hustling vigorously to enhance my search and SEO ranking.
That said, I can only recommend blogging and SEO if you love writing! In my experience, several of my blogging colleagues have ultimately quit their blogging efforts over the years.
In other words, yes, I think that blogging rules. However, I cannot recommend blogging unless you are madly in love with creating helpful real estate content and you cherish the art of writing.
PS: If you are curious about how to launch a blog, then I cordially invite you to read this heroic article I wrote about how to launch a WordPress blog in 7 simple steps. I have been blogging for years and hope that this content helps you!
