Are you a blogger or someone who is trying to generate leads with search engine optimization?
Or maybe you’re just trying to figure out which marketing tools are out there that can help you to brainstorm some cool content ideas?
If that’s the case then let’s spend a few minutes brainstorming the coolest keyword tools.
Keyword Tool # 1 – Google Keyword Planner

The Google Keyword Planner is arguably the single best Keyword Tool for SEO.
Why do I rank this tool so highly? First of all, it’s totally free to use.
Second of all, and most importantly, the Google Keyword Planner is designed by Google, arguably the single most important source behind the motivation of just about any keyword or SEO campaign.
Google Keyword Planner is also very easy to use, you can simply type in any keyword or phrase and Google will provide a bunch of powerful data for you.
Keyword Tool # 2 – Bing Keyword Research Tool

Bing, in my opinion, offers one of the best Keyword tools that is also 100% free to use.
Bing, just like Google, offers a boatload of awesome of awesome insights, and of course, Microsoft (who owns Bing) is in a tremendously powerful position to have a bunch of data so they can offer you good keyword ideas.
Another huge benefit to the Bing Keyword Research Tool, is that it’s 100% free and easy to use, so you never have to spend a single penny when brainstorming cool keyword ideas.
Keyword Tool # 3 – SpyFu
SpyFu Registration URL:
SpyFu is easily one of my favorite marketing tools, barnone!
The reason SpyFu rocks, is because you can find a bunch of powerful keyword ideas with the click of your mouse, and SpyFu also offers a ton of really cool features such as the ability to spy on your competitors search rankings.
SpyFu even lets you spy on your competitor’s AdWords campaigns, so SpyFu, in my opinion, is tremendously powerful and awesome.
SpyFu offers two types of accounts, a freemium account, which allows you to use their tools (but with some limitations), and a premium account with all of the limitations lifted.
Even if you use a free account, SpyFu is still worth checking out.
Keyword Tool # 4 – SEMRush
SEMRush Registration URL:
Like SpyFu, SEMRush offers a ton of powerful features that make it really easy to brainstorm and develop tons of content ideas.
So if you want to brainstorm powerful keyword insights, and if you’re a content marketer who wants to know exactly what type of content to create, then SEMRush is easily one of the best keyword tools on the planet (in my opinion).
SEMRush caters mostly to their premium members, however, you can claim a free SEMRush trial to try their nifty features.
Keyword Tool 5 – KeyWordTool.io
KeywordTool.io Registration URL:
KeywordTool.io is another awesome keyword tool that I would recommend to all content marketers, bloggers, professional marketers, or anyone who wants to generate better SEO rankings.
The way KeywordTool.io works is simple. You can type in a keyword, and then KeywordTool.io will provide a bunch of valuable insights.
The cool thing about KeywordTool.io is that they also offer a bunch of other features, such as the ability to analyze YouTube, Google, Bing, Amazon, and even eBay rankings.
KeywordTool.io is totally free to try, and they also offer advanced and unlimited features to their premium members.
