3 Powerful Email Marketing Ideas For Affiliate Marketers
Are you an affiliate marketer looking to brainstorm some super powerful and awesome email marketing ideas? If that’s the case then you’ll blog this blog post!
In this blog post, we’re going to brainstorm some super cool and nifty email marketing ideas for affiliate marketers.
Because maybe you’ve heard that email marketing can be one of the coolest ways that you can promote your affiliate offers, but you’re just not sure how to start?
Email Marketing For Affiliate Marketers Idea # 1 – Review An Affiliate Product!
To be brutally honest, this is by far one of my favorite ways to promote affiliate offers, and the best part is that this strategy (or tactic lol) can work in virtually any niche.
The reason for that, in my honest opinion, is because people love to read reviews! I personally strive to read reviews before I read anything, mainly because I’m a cheapskate (lol), but also, because I want to make sure that any particular product isn’t a piece of junk.
Let’s brainstorm a few random niches, and talk about what types of products could be promoted.
So maybe you’re in the survival niche. In that case you could review the top 10 best tents, the top 10 best brands of flashlight, portable generators, or maybe even the top 10 best M.R.E. (Meals Ready To Eat) Kits.
What about another niche? What types of products could you review?
If you’re in the gardening niche, you could easily review the top 10 best brand of gardening tool, the best gardening books, or maybe even a particular brand of seed that you love.
What about if you’re in the internet marketing niche? Well, there are so many awesome products that you could review; everything from marketing software, marketing courses, and the massive array of marketing launches that are happening each and every day.
Of course, after you review your product, you could include an affiliate link within your review so you can hopefully entice your audience to purchase via your affiliate link.
PS: These days, there are a ton of e-commerce related affiliate programs that could help you promote these types of products, Amazon, Target, Walmart, and even Best Buy come to mind as some of the larger retail affiliate programs that I can think of at the moment, there are others, to be sure. I advise you to simply google for “the best e-commerce affiliate programs”, “best retail affiliate programs” et cetera if you’d like to find other cool affiliate networks.
Email Marketing For Affiliate Marketers Idea # 2 – Write A Tutorial That Showcases Your Affiliate Product
One of the coolest things that affiliate marketers can ever do, is offer tremendous value to their prospective audience!
And, if you have an email newsletter, one of the coolest thing you can do is share cool tutorials with your audience, especially if you know for a fact that your audience is interested in the content that you’re creating.
So, let’s pretend that you have an audience who are interested in technology, computer science, IT, and other nerdy geeky stuff.
Let’s also pretend that you want to promote some type of e-commerce product as an affiliate.
Seems tricky, right? Well let’s brainstorm a little.
Let’s pretend that you want to promote Raspberry Pi as an affiliate! (A Raspberry Pi is one of the coolest and smallest personal computers by the way lol).
So, if you wanted to promote the Raspberry Pi as an affiliate, then you could probably join the Amazon, Walmart, or Target affiliate program, and get your links.
And, maybe on your blog, you could focus on creating awesome Raspberry Pi tutorials that prospective buyers might be interested in reading.
So maybe you could create a tutorial talking about how to configure a brand new Raspberry Pi, or a guide talking about how to install Raspbian (The Raspberry Pi Operating System) on your Raspberry Pi.
You could even write a guide talking about all of the different Raspberry Pi Kits available out there.
Of course, you could always insert your Affiliate Links within your tutorial content, and hopefully, if your readers appreciate your content, they’ll then click on your links.
The truth is that the more content that you create, and the higher quality it is, the better your chances of creating content that helps your end users, to the point where they WANT to click on your affiliate links.
Email Marketing For Affiliate Marketers Idea # 3 – Create A Free Course That Features Your Affiliate Product
Another really awesome way to pre-sell an affiliate product, is to create an awesome course that features your affiliate product!
And, in my opinion, free courses are almost always awesome gifts for your email subscribers, so this is a cool strategy to consider!!!
For example, let’s pretend that you wanted to promote AWeber as an affiliate. If you’re not familiar, AWeber is an email marketing software.
Well, I can think of DOZENS of cool email marketing course ideas (lol) that a prospective affiliate marketer could create.
Maybe a course entitled “5 Powerful Ways To Build Your Email List”, or “How To Create A Beautiful Email Newsletter From Scratch” could be a really cool way to pre-sell AWeber.
At the end of the course, you could mention to your students that if they appreciate the free course, then they are invited to try AWeber via your affiliate link. 🙂
Also, you could also offer some exclusive bundles to students who try AWeber via your link. Maybe you could offer bonus courses, or maybe some email marketing templates, or something that would complement the original product (which would be AWeber, an email marketing software, in this case).
The point is that, with a little creative thinking, I’m confident that you too could generate some really cool free course ideas to help promote your affiliate offers.
You could then promote your free courses on your blogs, on Twitter, on Pinterest, on Instagram, on LinkedIn, and hopefully, on YouTube as well.
